Did anyone get the offer in The Sun newspaper? You had to collect seven tokens printed in each day, I sent it off quick smart last week and got my tickets today, 2 for free, no catch (apart from buying the paper) although they give you a set day, mine is September 30th, can't wait !

Very exciting! Is it sad that I looked as soon as it turned 12? I looked this morning when I woke up and was disappointed to say it still had hours remaining, I assumed it would count down till midnight. I remember people had been saying how Raptor has good themeing and I don't think The Swarm will disappoint on this level, as it seems Thorpe are working really hard on it for this ride from what we have already seen in the planning.Was reading the wikipedia for it earlier and the description is really detailed, I wondered if anyone else had seen this, I will copy and paste, "The ride will begin in the station which is a partly destroyed church, and will climb up a 40m (127 Foot) lift hill. Upon reaching the top of the lift hill, the track will rotate at an angle of 180° and dive down through a large half loop. The train will then proceed to dive under a wrecked plane and incline into a zero-g roll and before entering an inclined loop. It then enters a turn around with a wrecked helicopter in the centre followed by a corkscrew through the loop creating a near-miss point. Upon leaving the corkscrew the train will curve past a crashed fire engine and a partly destroyed church tower and enter into a last inline twist before the final brakes of the ride stop the train and guide it back into the station."Anyway, I am excited for this, and annoyed I have to wait so long before it is actually built!

5 days till lc12.net shows/tells us something new and exciting about the ride!Hopefully nothing we already know! Although I guess all this is aimed at enthusiasts so they should deliver something good!

I went to Thorpe Park yesterday, 11th MayIt was so quiet it was amazing!We got the train into Staines for 9.30am where we got on the shuttle bus. It waited to for ages before departing so we didn't get to the park till after it had opened.The queue for the entrance was about 5-10 minutes, not much at all, there were a few spots of rain but then stopped. The day wasn't sunny, but it wasn't rainy, so that was a plus!Queue times for rides were great. I will post the order with the time waited below.Colossus No waiting time, we just walked straight on!Nemesis Inferno Waited for a couple of minutes, not much at all.Loggers LeapStraight on again. No one in front or behind us either on the ride, probably had it to ourselves!Samurai Got on pretty much straight away, just had to wait for one lot to get off.X No Way OutWouldn't normally go on this, but I wanted to show my other half just how terrible it was. It didn't disappoint in that respect. No queue of course and it took longer to pick up our bag at the end than go on the ride!Rumba RapidsNo queue again!Tidal WaveWe got straight on and there were only a couple of others in our boat. I swear I have never got this soaked on a ride, it was awful! And to make it worse, I was tricked by my fiancé in standing right by where it splashes when the next one went round and I got soaked AGAIN. I never dried out fully! Stealth(This was closed at the start on the day) We waited just over 10 minutes. The ride photo for this was hilarious as my fiancé looked like he was having a great time and I looked more like I was sitting bored in a meeting, not effected by the fact we were travelling at 80mph at all! SlammerI haven't been on this one before, we had to wait a few minutes before there were enough people who wanted to go on. The girl in front of us was having the worst time of her life. It was pretty scary, especially when you go forwards but it didn't feel as powerful as Vortex and Samurai. VortexHad to wait 1 turn before we could go on. Nemesis InfernoDid this again, it was the longest queue we had to wait.SAW was closed for some of the day and we saw some people who got stuck on the lift, this and the fact I am terrified of SAW movies (and horror in general) meant I completely chickened out of this one when it reopened. The outside track does look really good though, maybe when they retheme it after the contract runs out I will go on it!Didn't see the crazy LC12 man, but saw all the posters, I am very excited for the new ride!We ended up leaving the park at 3pm as we had been up since 7am and were getting worn out!The only negative thing about the day was that when we got home I had a terrible bout of food poisoning, so I am now very ill in bed!But the day was great and the ride times meant the day went quick and we got on all the rides we wanted!

I am going to Thorpe Park tomorrow, yay!I had just convinced myself to go on the SAW ride (I hate horror films) and plucked the up the courage when I found out that because of the SAW ALIVE fire, actors had moved to the queue of the coaster.This has completely put me off, I hate the idea of SAW ALIVE because of gory make up, pigmasks and people jumping out at you, so now to have this on the ride has completely freaked me out.So my question is..Will they were there tomorrow? Will they be there only at the peak times of the day? I am guessing the park won't be too busy tomorrow so I am more likely to get picked on by the actors. This is really worrying me!Also, what do they do to people / look like?Do they pick on particular kinds of people?Thank you

ah ok. Just copied and pasted from rcdb :/That is not quite right, there are in fact only 4 inversions, the inclined loop is more like a over banked turn and not classed as an inversion.

I miss having a car. Wish I could sing aloud whilst driving there instead of sitting quietly on a train, would make the time pass much faster!Yep very depressing drive but my music keeps me happy
and also watching DVDs on the route in traffic . -
Never been on my own, and I can imagine like others have said the time would go much slower in queues without someone to talk to.Hoping when I get my AP others on here will be up for meeting me there fairly frequently!

I feel like me and my gf have been together for ages and feel Like were married share everything really and she's even insured on my car ! Too Getting your own place is one of the best feelings ever in the world and going out to buy bits and bobs to customise to your style amazing even know I'm not a great fan of shopping but didn't complain when my other half said we must had the 42" led telly it's fantastic !Your love it hope the move goes well for both of you

Ah awesome, I have to go by train at the moment (can't afford a car) only takes about half an hour.Moving over summer though and will be closer then. Hoping I can tie in getting an AP with the opening of the new coaster, so it is still valid then!I live in Berkshire, so about a 20 min drive. It's well worth it tbh
