  1. Thanks, I think you are right about Thorpe at the moment.
  2. I have worked a bit at making this page so I thought I would share it: http://mattsdesigns.webs.com/space.htmlPlease let me know whether you think it would be good or bad. I don't work in the industry but I would like to see something like this made in the future - but not everyones vision is the same I understand
  3. Thanks dude ! I love it aswell - I think that X and loggers leap add much needed variation to the day !
  4. Laser effects in X no way out (mostly by using a SINGLE Laser unit in the roof) (or for another dark coaster)I know this coaster only goes backwards- but you don’t actually see any less (except for the fact its dark). The idea could actually be that you get BLASTED back by the lasers. The idea in some ways seems to be very fitting for one, the shape of the building. You can have the main laser in the peak of the pyramid which you would be able to bounce of diffraction mirrors (http://www.lasershow.sk/accessories/52-bounce-mirrors/186-diffraction-mirrors-standard ) - presumably at the rate of one bounce only - since bouncing of multiple mirrors could be a problem if just 1 mirror goes out of alignment.I honestly don’t know how the building factors the que system in but I’m guessing the whole ride is mostly central in the pyramid??So the drawing shows how this whole 1 laser and diffracting mirror system works. The biggest challenge may well be timing the laser so it doesn’t shine directly in anyone’s eyes (even though it seems to happen at clubs all the time). You will probably be able to get a few mirrors to diffract the laser directly onto the floor, over the heads of people and over the receding tracks but I can see you would definitely need it to be timed from triggers on the track - it’s not impossible - just a matter of getting an engineer who knows how to control the laser, DMX and use it conjunction with trigger switches.A single haze machine on full blast could probably ensure you'd see the beams http://www.lemaitre.co.uk/productInformation.aspx?UKeyCategory=8&UKeyProduct=3A laser cage like this could be made if stable enough frame can be created. If you can’t do it with the main laser you could use another. You could have this at one of the stops.
