It felt like everything was running faster this year. But that may be because I haven't been for half a year.. You do forget I'm sure.

It was going very well yesterday in the morning, two trains running very slickly.One 20min down time and then a short burst of about ten runs, then a long time down with one train being taken off.

Lots of downtime yesterday. Managed to get one (epic as always) front row ride in.Will this ride never settle into good reliability?

Finally got to ride The Swarm yesterday, all I can say is wow!The area looks incredible, and is by far the best theming in the uk since nemesis, brilliant. The queue annoyed me slightly, I like different things to look at and don't appreciate meandering back and forth over the same area! Not even the tvs can cover up this!As for the ride, first time, 5th row left side. Fantastic. Unexpectedly high at the top of the lift hill, and the moment you hang whilst looking down at the forthcoming drop is a uk wide coaster highlight for me.The drop itself is brilliant and quite forceful, and packs a punch when going under the wing. The zero g provides a great floaty sensation and the drop that follows really gathers pace once again.All through the ride I couldn't help but laugh, it is unmatched in the fun stakes and is fantastically smooth and re rideable. (the polar opposite of Colossus which was running the fastest and roughest I've ever experienced it).The pacing can be odd on the ride at times, and you do feel like you're waiting for a descent to kick in, this is my only complaint.I would say this is classy ride that executes what it needs to do with perfection, but doesnt include that wild untamed feeling of a true thrill ride. (sums up b and m well I think!)

I think people are being quite unfair to rob now. He's toned down his criticism to be easier on people's ears, but yet people refuse to accept that this is his opinion!Different people have different expectations and tolerances... For example, I find nimferno incredibly dull and force less, while others love it.Rob makes valid points, some stronger that what others may feel. But there's no need to be so stubborn in refusing his opinion... That is hypocritical!

It's amazing how much ride enjoyment is altered by the riders attitude.Any ride can be dull and boring if you go wanting it to be.....

Woody! Instead of SAW... Did you get the opportunity to photograph the plans? And that view of swarm is amazing, really can't wait till March.

I would assume the high metal fencing is to stop construction workers from wondering in the way of a testing roller coaster...

I just synced this and the live testing video together and, they run pretty much exactly the same. What a recreation. And if it actually looks that fast on board... we are in for a treat!

I assume they are testing or almost testing as they already have dummies in seats! Might just have to go down there and keep an eye out for moving trains!

We have trains people!Edit: and more importantly, I see test dummies in the trains.

Well it seems like Thorpe don't like us following the construction using the lobster cam! Now only shows "one of the first shots"Damn, there's goes my time wasting!
