This is the kind of comment that should have been taken to guest services straight away so the member of staff can be dealt with. Unacceptable attitude from someone supposed to be providing an enjoyable day out. No one should ever be forced into having a photo taken of them.
Exactly, there are people out there who don't like being photographed regardless of the occasion. The only accretions pass ports and the likes.

That scaffolding cover looks awful, the only advantage of the way it's done is it blends in withThirteen.
-
The rides operations clearly are getting worse. I also don't get the point of exit rider queue.
-
Yes, this happens to me aswell! I am typing and then suddenly it comes up with 'you have been kicked from the chat room' and I have to refresh. I always come back in asking who's kicked me and no one says they have but know I know why
I do use the mobile version quite a lot though!
I also find this finds this happens to often too after I leave chat for a few minutes.

So it seems now Merlin's intentions of getting rides to a certain capacity or throughput have changed to them reaching a certain queue time instead. :/

Main Ride throughputs
Dragons Fury 700
Falls throughput 800
Bubble works throughput 500
Zufari throughput 800
Vampire throughput 70

I'm having some technical issues with TPM chat at the moment. After entering from the agreement, it holds with it waiting for recent chat to load up but doesn't seem to be appearing. It says which members are online but doesn't appear with any previous chat data.

Seeing what's happened to Falls, I can see all rock faces being removed and in replaced making the ride look worker than the Flying Fish could.
Maybe it's me but Chessie really seem to be going backwards this year.

Vampires run badly these days and dispatches are more like 250 secs these days. It's disappointing we won't see it on three trains anymore.

My review:
The queue is crap...
The pre-show is crap...
The seatbelts are crap...
The loading/off-loading systems are crap...
The cave is crap...
The ride itself is decent though, I feel that having a pre-recorded thing fails epically as it forgets the whole mystical evil carvings half way through and you can't listen to it half the time (mainly due to people going "ohhhh" at the animals, which is fair)...
The cave is pretty damn anti-climatic... They got everything but the actual point of it right, as the sounds/lights in there are actually decent... Shame...
The queue as said is stupid... WHY IS THERE A BOLLOCKY GREEN SCREEN PHOTO 3/4 OF THE WAY THROUGH? Idiotic idea (especially given the state of the photo booth) to have it at all, let alone so far along in the queue you actually ARE queuing for it, rather than the ride...
The pre-show is shockingly bad... 2nd best to Disney eh? I bet even Mingoland could get better lip-sync (read: ACTUAL LIP SYNC) than that lemur... Let alone it looked DIABOLICAL... Would've been better either having an extended queue with TVs explaining bits (hence allowing an INTELLIGENT onload/offload system) from Chase rather than a character which doesn't actually appear anymore in the ride (or on park for that matter)...
Another thing are the high fences, which mean you see NOTHING... Sorry guys, but that is stupid as well... No build up to the ride in the paths leading up to it OR in the queue... Missed the chances there...
You can see they tried... They really did, and I enjoyed the ride itself, but there are so many failings with it as well which cause quite a few issues... Such a shame really...
Not the worst thing at Chessie though right now...
Su
First paragraph sums the ride up.
On the other hand, there are Truckers and Jungle Bus which can't beat this ride.

It's a great shame to see the ride running in a bare state. Apart from the upcoming Oakwood ride, 2013 has been a pretty ad one for log flumes. Next thing, the Flume will close down.
-
I remember my second visit ever to Chessie back in 2007 and the ride felt like it was falling apart. Six years later and I can only see the ride being much worse. Sky ways is a great scenic ride around Chessie (on the areas it covers) but has crying out for refurbishments for years and may not receive for a few more years.
I hope this ride will get the treatment it deserves in this refurbishment plan as it needs new/refurbished trains and a general station clean up at the least.
-
This is already looking an exciting Project for Oakwood. According to RCDB, the coaster will be Camelot's former junior Dragon coaster.
-
Last times had a themepark dream, I went on the Dragon Legoland. It was strange because the dark section was longer.
-
Definately 90's for my vote. I'll be a maybe on this day. I hope to attend the day and may attend the night bit too. As for Crash Pad, I'll see.

In terms of a ride re theme, here's what I would like to see (not that it would ever happen though).
The ride entrance remains the same as now but refreshed with the queueline based around an oriental garden. The station will be themed around a giant temple or pagoda. Once the boats leave the station, there will be new bits of theming like samurai s and dragons.
The first lift hill will be themed with a rock face and the tunnel it enters will be themed as a cave. Once the ride reaches the 2nd lift, it will enter a giant dragon mouth at the top. The top section will be mostly/completely indoors with rocks beneath the lift (again).
Once the ride reaches the drop, it will either emerge from another dragon head or go under an arch to deliver some great interaction both off and on ride. After splashing, the ride will return to the station like it does.
There could also be a light story of riders finding a lost mysterious dragon to save a Chinese town (or something) but few ever returning.
-
I'm hoping to attend my first TPM meet. I'll be a maybe on this one.
-
I can actually see this being the case theming wise and the redesign being mediocre and not near as spectacular ads falls once was.
I don't think well ever see the likes of rocks and faces on falls ever again.
-
In terms of the transylvania music.
The 2006 Bubbleworks song didn't really work and made was incoherent to the area.
The Haloween theme that was used in 2011 until early 2012 gave the area a creepy vibe however in the disadvantage as mentioned possibly frightened some children queing for the bubbleworks who hadn't been on the ride.
The current european sounding one is perhaps the most coherent of the three giving the area a party and almost fetival atmosphere. However I can't say I'm keen on the music as it's a little cheesy.
Perhaps there could be a way Chessie could play the haloween one between september and november season only in the area or just around Vampire's entrance.

The project being halted by spider colony? That is crazy. I hope it can still open for 2017.

Happy Birthday Inferno, here's to the first B&M coaster I've ridden plus the first looping ride I ever experienced. May it last at least another ten years.
-
I think the minimum temperature these rides can run at is 4 degrees otherlise they can't operate. I know inferno [and presumably Swarm] are able to run at a lower temperature.
As for the front seats, theyre the best seats on the ride for experiencing the surroundings around, the drop and also it doesn't bash you around as much.
-
Chessington with no coasters running would be a disapointing day. I wonder if Mine Train could handle this weather [if it wasn't closed]?
-
To me, I see this retheme idea thing as mixed view. It could improve the ride and bring the theming back to it's former glory or make a total mess of it.
I can see Falls operating with the little to no theming it still has for 2013 while Chessie's management receive the ideas received by fan and the like and choose the best concept for 2014.

That's ridiculously slow. Chessington really need to speed their dispatches of rides up this year.
