Not sure where you've heard about the projection mapping, but youre wrong it is being used again, and the quality is far better. Also lots of other surprises happening around park that haven't happened before

I was at the park today, and noticed that speakers have been fitted above the shooting gallery next to scorpion express. anyone know any more???

The rest of it will go up, once the new hotel opens, as this will be open in the evening for hotel guests, as well as wanyama village and reserve

Heard that they have added a nice little piece of music with sound effects to Amazu now, it makes the area come alive. Its amazing how quickly they are adding these audio systems to theses new areas

You would have thought that they would have cleared up all the rubbish after they had finished all the work

I know that Dragon Falls, Bubbleworks & Tombblaster are on the list for a reburb, + something brand new in a couple of years that I cant talk about at the moment, but it will be pretty amazing hopefully!!!

I totally agree, loads of you just moan for the sake of moaning. If you don't like what chessington is doing now, don't go, plain and simple, and start moaning about other parks, I think over the next few years there is going to be some amazing changes. There is a completely new management team that wants to see chessington succeed. There has been a lot of great improvement this year so far. and if you don't like them tough.

Perhaps you didn't leave chessington on you own accord, but were not asked back due to differences. Maybe this is why you are so bitter and cant except the truth. Thank goodness, I don't work at chessington, but do know a lot of people that do work there in many departments. And it seems that the Technical Services Department does far more than what everyone thinks when it comes to music around the park

From what Ive been told, this is what it is like now. But to be honest plugging in a couple of speakers to and amplifier and CD player is not rocket science anyone can do this. But on all of theses occasions Technical Services were called due problems caused by Entermainments

No!! . Entertainments are only good for pushing buttons and keeps the shows going which they are very good at, but all maintenance and new installations are carried out, either by companies under instruction from Technical Services, or by them themselves. Entertainment doesn't have any technical audio knowledge and usually calls on the expertise of Technical Services.

Unfortunately he`s wrong on this occasion, I know the engineer that looks after the maintenance of all the sound systems around the park. Entertainment just make sure that it is playing if not then Technical Services repairs it.

Entertainments doesn't look after any of the music in this area or throughout the park, this is looked after by the Technical Services Department.

They will never run 3 trains again, they have been told that they have to have 2 trains available at all times, so the 3rd train needs to available if one of the other trains has a problem with it.

Also the music in the fountains sounds far better than is ever sounded

Was really impressed with what has been achieved in such a short space of time. Love the new music. The Flame Effect is far better than Thorpes, and at least its running. Effects are great. lot of smoke, and the little messages that sound like a radio announcement sound ed really good. Overall 8/10

Visited today and was really impressed in the fountain lighting, far better than last year. I was speaking to one of the rides staff, and they said that the lighting show was temporary and a better show is on its way. Watch this Space!!!!

Went to friends and family day today, Scorpion Express wasn't open, but from what I could see from jumbo is look pretty good,. Lots going on, back in tomorrow for APD, hopefully it will be running

Everyone get over it, RMT needed an overhaul, as long as it looks good and is running this year must be a good thing.

Was in the park today, and theming is starting on the ride. All tower frame is being installed, the scorpion model is installed and parts of the back drop theming is starting to be fitted, maybe it will look good and be a completely different experience as they say.

Perhaps, its worth waiting unit it completely finished. I was talking to a manager today, and the transformation will stating as from next week, as most of the theming is being built offsite

I think instead of slagging chessington off, before they have finished all the work they seem to be doing, let just wait. unfortunately there are a lot of people that want chessington to fail. this year maybe different. Know one knows exactly what is going on with scorpion express, market square and the rest of the park. The fire before Christmas hasn't helped but these things do happen, just like Thorpe and alton but good things came out of it. so give them a break and be patient before judging them
