Speaking of horror nights Orlando... They seem to be doing cabin in the woods. Someone is copying here :/
-
I really hope it's open when I go at scarefest because I live so far away and I only go there every few years. It better be open!**Fingers crossed**
-
The problem is, thorpe are only doing it on weekends up until half term which means it is very hard to put park wide themeing in as there are people who come for normal days between. I'm sure there is a way around this and if you are reading this thorpe(which I know u are ) please try and make the park themeing as good as possible this year instead of a couple of coloured lights

For CS go into the RCT3 folder(located in the thing on the side saying 'Cameron's mac' or something like that, then go to 'style', then paste it in the 'themed' folder For CFRS and CTRS it is a bit more complicated as the folder comes in separate Filey things You may need to extract the files first but just try pasting it to begin with, open up your RCT3 and look in the scenery/walls sections and check if its there If that didnt help just look at this vid and ignore the download at the beginning but follow at 3:00.

And the mazes are rated 12+ :/ I cant seem to beleive that the asylum is coming back as it seems like they are going for an all film line up. Saw, You're next, Bloody romance(!?) and cabin in the woods just would not fit in with the asylum that is why I think we will have Texas chainsaw thing instead
-
Thorpe please tell us if this is true
-
What's 'You're next'?I think these could all be pretty likely but I doubt it's true. Thorpe park would have not especially told TPC and I think they are just writing what they think the mazes will be. Also I think it's likely the Aslyum will be changed to Texas Chainsaw Massarce

CFRs are custom flat rides; things like rush, windseeker, fair rides etc. CTRs are custom track rides; these are where you get a ride 'car'(let's say smiler) and you can create whatever track you want. CTs are where someone has made a rollercoaster(let's say Colossus) and you download it and you just practically put it into your game. These are more realistic than making your own ones because RCT3 does not have the capability to do the 4 barrel rolls but the Colossus CT does

I think any amount of mazes is possible! They could have one in the place where pirates 4D was. Seeing as there is one rumoured to be linked to swarm I have a feeling we might get veagenance in there!? Maybe the swarm maze will then become an all year round maze if they are using vegenance! Would like to see a CCR ghost train as Pluk said

Why isn't it being trialled today?
-
Personally, my favourite sets are shy guys Main Street etc.A lot of the CS I have downloaded has been from this website, it gives a good range of CS,CFRS, CTRS and CTS. It's quite a good website http://www.customscenerydepot.com/index.php?action=downloads If you need any help choosing some CS or help downloading feel free to ask
-
Seeing as you read everything thorpe... I'm going to fright nights with my friend who has never been before. As there will be new mazes this year I won't know which ones are scariest etc. We want to do the least scariest ones first... Do you think you could do what chessington are doing and when you announce your mazes could you put a 'scare' rating on each of them so we know which ones are scarier? Many thanks...

Make sure you download some custom scenery, flat rides and track rides. These all make the parks look so much better If you need any particular CS or anything ask me because I have a lot of it

I like the idea of this whole reserve N ride thing but I really hope it doesn't end up like the flash pass at six flags, where they have three systems: - Regular, wait as long as everyone else but not in the line. -Gold, get a reduction of waiting time, again not in line - Platinum, barely any waiting and ride TWICE. I don't mind if thorpe have all three of these as long as regular is free but I really hope they do not go for the platinum style one where you wait 5 mins to get on and then you get to stay on for another go, making the waiting time even longer for others. Also even the regular flash pass is ridiculously expensive so I hope if thorpe continue with reserve N ride they keep a regular one free. However, I can definately see fastrack being replaced with an online system like the gold/platinum flash pass.

You're not the only one When I visited the wasps wernt too bad but then I went to thorpe a couple of weeks later and it was horrible. There were wasps in every single queueline and to be honest most people were exaggerating over them and it was pretty horrid. Drinks capsules were getting thrown around, people were trying to run away in the queueline(although no where to run ) and everyone was trying to hit them with something or other Not sure how bad it is at chessie though, would expect it to be the same?

What Rides Are You Required to Wear Your Shoes?
TPJames replied to TPJames's question in Quick Questions
Would like to say, that the staff didn't seem to care about people going bare footed at all a couple of weeks back on the swarm and nemesis inferno. People were just leaving their shoes on the floor on the platform/next to it and the ride operators didn't seem to care about it- unfortunately I didn't take my shoes off despite everyone else doing it -
If people want a more 'fun scary' event, as I said, they can go to chessie down the road
-
And if the queues were long for them(longer than your time slot), you would be forced into buying a more expensive fastrack...
-
Sorry misunderstood, that would be a good idea

CCR ghost train would be awesome, and it would be nice to see the return of CCR an hopefully have it running again for the 2014 season(maybe the farm could come back please thorpe?!)However, I really don't think even if there is a maze for families I doubt any will turn up: 1. Roaming actors- kids will be scared to death of them. 2. I don't think this appeals to families; 'The UK's most chilling Halloween event.' And 'Are you ready for the next level of fear this Halloween?. I think the families will be sticking to chessington. Also, It does say 'late night attractions are not suitable for under 12s'. Another reason why I don't think families will turn up.

As I said, if they continue the reserve n ride I think they should have 3 options: Main queue- as normal and you get all the build up and atmosphere- Free of course Reserve N ride- wait in the virtual queue and go onto the ride at your time slot- Free to all guests Reserve N ride+ - wait in the virtual queue but get your waiting time reduced by 90%- A paid system(basically fastrack) I think this would be a good way to have it as it means you would be able to do other rides in between waiting for your first one. Also on an off peak day you wouldn't have to do all this silly booking stuff and you would be able to go straight onto the ride
-
I doubt the mazes will be paid, they might have one or two paid ones but the majority are likely to be free . Who knows though?
-
Air's seats are almost identical to samurai, therefore I think you should be able to fit into samurai and fit onto the rest of the rides Just try the test seat before you ride
-
If they install this on every ride I can't see it working. The fact that you can only reserve one ride at a time means that if up you want to do rides in between your reservation, you can't. I think they would still need to keep the main queue but then have the options of reserve n ride and fastrack. That way, if you are on a reservation, you can ride something else inbetween that reservation. Also, on an off-peak day when the rides are walk on, it will be pointless reserving and you might aswell just go in the general queue. I think thorpe need to consider these as otherwise the system won't work at all. If they had three ways to get on the ride(like Disneyland!?) then I think that would work well however thorpe seem to be going for the worlds first theme park with a 'no queue garuntee'. I'm not sure how this will work out?

Thought the fright nights were meant to be scarier than ever, surely families won't be attending it?
