  1. I have the same issue. now it is my GCSE year so there would be less time. I currently have a Standard Merlin Pass, Expiring next week. Now, this is what I went to using it. Thorpe:2 Dungeons:1 London eye: 1 Legoland: 1 Madame Tussauds: 1 I got a discount for merlin from my friend who had a voucher. it was about 20 pounds cheaper than buying one normally. Premium isn't a problem, as I always get a lift from a friend, who just drops us off. So, what should I do? Option 1: Thorpe Annual but buy it soon. not willing for the new season thing. Option 2: renew Standard Option 3:just buy tickets to places whenever, but it be online so its cheaper, or my friend who will have merlin to get the friends and family discount.
  2. cars Mcdonalds or Burger King
  3. might be in late, so allow time for that...

  5. bovril. Storm surge or Wet Wet Wet
  6. not sure whether anyone has ever been to ocean park but does who have here is the discussion. Ocean park is located in Hong Kong, for those who don't know, and it has two parts to its park. One up in the mountains, and one below. To get up to the mountain, there are Cable cars, and those who are a bit scared or like a different experience can go on the train. heres a POV of there newest ride, Hair Raiser a B&M Floorless Coaster, (not taken by me): And in my opinion the best few rides there: There log flume is very good, better than loggers in terms of thrill. it has two hills as much as I can remember. First one is very similar to the one in loggers, however the second one feels very steep. Then theres The Dragon. Again a good ride, although I don't think it can be comparable to really any of the big rides at thorpe. The rapids are alright, and definitely better than thorpe's own. their Fright night/Halloween event I feel is better organised, and although yes they do sell fast track, it is well managed, meaning queues don't get delayed. The one year I went, I remember that when queuing they make it feel quick, with performances and events happening around you, and most the rides were walk on (Extra!) The pirate boat is good, and times I've been walk on. A similar ride to Vortex, but better, and offloading and onloading quicker, a ride called flash. It's a whole lot better. a video of it in action: There is also a Mine train, which is standard. Finally, there is lots to do there with there being wildlife reserves(free of charge) which has pandas, red pandas and more! Great day out especially in Hong Kong! Any questions welcome!
  7. I just read this and I used to live in Hong Kong, and I can guarantee you that if you want to go to Disney in Hong Kong, Don't. Unless you are a massive disney fan. Go to Ocean Park Instead. A lot better...
  8. Banned for being Benin's Side Kick
  9. great idea! maybe an idea for the game: On a chance/community chest: You dropped your wallet on one of your rides??? A ride has broken down, when you are at the top of the hill. Get free fastrack? You buy a photo pass pay X Amount You lost your head on swarm, pay X amount for an operation to put it back on You died on Saw. You get soaked by tidal wave. Pay X amount to get a new change of clothes or miss X go's to use the drying machine.(not sure what the heat things could be called) It's your birthday, each of your friends buy you fastrack for one ride. Get X amount of each person. and instead of buying houses/hotels, you buy rollercoaster seats and Shipping containers-Crash Pad!(just a thought)
  10. I wished I could come, I am away on holiday during that week... A question from my friend, How Old do you need to be to join the site/go on the meets??
  11. went a few days ago, and it being one of my favourite rides, it has been changed a lot. I will do a comparision between the last few times I went on it, and the one most recently. Recently: The dark section was taken out, so not as much as a surprise, but you do get a lot wetter. it felt considerably shorter as a ride, even though I know it is the same. They could have handled the queues better- said 5 minute queue, when I saw th actual queue seemed more like 30 mins. in the end 45 minutes, they decided after 10 minutes of me joining the queue they had people sharing their boats(fair enough). Many people went into the fastrack queue without realising. Maybe better signage, and the final drop(maybe 2) had no water on the track, although on the way up on that drop, it did feel steeper, so maybe could be what they have done with the surrounding area, and how they is considerably more water in the rest of the "track" if you call it. I feel that they are aiming for more of a extreme ride rather than a fun and thrilling ride. Staff were ruder, and more "Pushy" if a word to describe it. Times before: dark section surprised me and first drop was as wet, and queues handled very well. Boards updated well, and no one I know of went in the wrong queue. The final drops had a decent amount of water, the ride was fun and exciting. Good ride and staff very polite.
  12. can we do some "Research" as you call it before the date of the quiz??? when you say records, its any park right?? not just thorpe? if you can't say because of rules/giving away too much to the question/answers, please do say
