  1. And besides, to make Knightmare more appealing, why not have its old theming back in Koba Portopialand in Japan, as BMRX (Or Bavarian Mountain Railroad).

Take the link for example (https://www.google.com/search?q=bmrx+kobe&safe=active&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiE9cqbtO3gAhV7VBUIHUnVDBMQ_AUIDygC&biw=1280&bih=907)

And I would make it themed to a dark legend that was long forgotten since the middle ages, maybe Transylvanian/Gothic like perhaps. What do you think of that?

  2. Oh, and what if I returned Eclipse (Ferris Wheel) back to the island, and use all IMAScore music of Lost City (Lost City, The Power of Ten, An Ancient Force, Secrets in the Ruins), as a whole music piece for the queue line. And I would return the old soundtrack back to Colossus, and the ambience back to Zodiac, Vortex, Quantum and Rush. Won't that be nice as well?

How much will someone pay for a rusted Fastrack sign I wonder...

Replace it with a Chiapas style log flume please, and probably an interacting cred to go with it...

Now I agree with you for this

I like the idea of new trains on Colossus as it could make the ride more enjoyable and pleasant, especially as the park’s original ‘thrill’ Icon.

But lets face it, there’s a higher chance of the ride getting demolished or abandoned than this ever happening.

Unless I want it completely rebuilt, just like Altair!

Does everything need to be marketable to bring people in? I'm pretty sure a refurbished knightmare with no theme would bring in more people than a heavily themed flat ride that was marketable for instance.

No theme, eh? I'll make it themed with a darker/medieval look, like Transylvania, like Flug Der Daemonen (Flight of the Demon) at Heide Park. Besides, I don't mind how many people will attend to the area. I would call Knightmare's area as "Dark Kingdom".

Well maybe I’ll add a flat ride or two and maybe theme the area as DARK KINGDOM. How about it?

There's a big difference between not painting it for 21 years and doing no maintenance at all for 6 years. The latter is far more substantial.

But why bring it back anyway? Why resurrect an old ride like that which was second hand when it got to Camelot? It's not particularly marketable to anyone other than a theme park enthusiast.

You’re right. Maybe a new legacy would carry it out.

Knightmare has been exposed to the elements for 6 years without maintenance and was already old before reaching Camelot and would require higher maintenance costs compared to most coasters and for these reasons. I'd have thought the cost of deconstructing, transporting, reconstructing and refurbishing a coaster like that also wouldn't be remotely worth it.

Even if a brand new coaster costs more in the immediate short term it's going to be less arduous in the long run to maintain, especially compared to a ride that's been unmaintained for 6 years.

Or how about, build a brand new coaster in style of Knightmare, of course, with the exact layout. Maybe Vekoma, or mack, or intimin, or zierer.

Knightmare is 80 feet in height and has no inversions.

You can change the top height or number of inversions, if you want to.

    What do you think?

  8. My suggestion, have Knightmare from Camelot, completely refurbished by Zierer during next year, and then, I’ll soon have it behind the swarm and stealth, for 2020. How’s that for real?

New trains are possible but would be of the original design.  since due to the width of the track as has been said before leg room cant be increased. and to be honest if you put lap bars in you prob make the head banging worse as your head could then travel more than a few inches side to side.

Also 3 new trains. impractical not just for cost of buying them but, theirs only undercover workshop space for 1 train. and block sections wouldn't allow them to be swapped around. only reason Stealth has 3 is due to the increased maintenance cost of the track and hydraulics

Well maybe expand the workshop, with another switchpoint, but inside the workshop. A third train is a spare train, incase another needs fixing, to reduce queueing time, just incase. Also, we can put in head cushions on each restraints, to smoothen the experience.
