I love the light tunnel, I like it lighter as it kinda blinds ya so you cant see the track that well. You can see the track more this year which kind of ruined it also my mum first time on it and she was disappointed with it. I'm loving the new music but think they could also play last years too, also turn it up louder for when your actually on the ride!

I just liked how the light were set up in the middle as it made it more lighter and felt more like a rave, this year they put the light everywhere it don't give the same effect in my opinion

It just seemed a lil dull today, the only new part like is the lasers on the lift hill, also the 2nd time I went on it it was running a lot faster to the 1st time

Was down Thorpe today and only got 4 rides fitted in, went on X 2 times, I loving the new tracklist this year, there was 90s rave music and a lot of Swedish house mafia and think I heard a Knife Party remix which made me happy, not a big fan of the new light design ruined the experience for me and was much better last year as it more harder to see the track. Also the music seemed to be quiet as at times you hardly couldn't hear it over the train moving Apart from that its good just turn the music up louder, I still cant get over the fact Sandstorm came on once I got off the ride!

Thank you Still waiting to find out who won but the festival have wrote on twitter saying how it got a record breaking 300 comments on the status! EDIT: Got word from the guys in charge and they said the line up is revealed on Monday! This is when il also know if I'm performing or not. They are really trying to create the tension

Thanks guys really appreciate it and haha you know what a coincidence Grays born and bread, hopefully there wont be much trouble this year with the drunks, since they introduced the rule of 'no outside alcohol' last year trouble went down from previous events. If I do get a set there I'm putting together something special just for the event with abit of something for everyone even ifits just the vocals they know, also going to premiere some new stuff

Agree 100% they need a Slender attraction at some point, or roaming Slender actors. After I went there last year dressed as Slender quite a few people got scared.

I know they have closed at 11pm before when it was a really busy hot day, think they only did this that one time though

I live 30mins away from AI so been there quite a lot and I remember when the staff were proper grumpy and recently I have seen a huge impact of new staff who are much more happier and make it a better experience, even the character team as last time I was down there was to hand in my cv but before I could do that I had a monkey not stop flirting with me (as said by the lady with the character) :'D Well I got some advice from a member of staff about the interview stages so it all good.

Love hearing that X is playing some proper edm music now, still they could use there own music on the playlist as that was pretty good. They need to play some trance and Knife Party maybe Skrillex and all other edm (More SHM), Defiantly need to play Sandstorm! Cant wait to ride it now they have updated it looking forward to the rave

I went on X the first time last year, after not going Thorpe for a few years, and it instantly become my favourite ride, mostly as its having a rave on a roller coaster, two of my favourite things put together. The music was almost full blast my first time on it including the line. During Fright Nights it was too quitter obvious as Cabin In The Woods was next door. I need the song they play on it.
