  1. Golden Tickets let you have those experiences without having to pay for them, you get two per pass and once used that's it until you renew. You can pick anything that's listed or wait for special ones to appear (I'm a celeb launch had free meal, glass of champagne etc) or if none of them take your fancy you can use them like Celebration Tickets. Celebration ticket gives you park entry and VIP fastrack for a guest (potentially worth £155ish each) you also get two celebration tickets included in the pack. That's the downside if you're going with friends who don't have the pass you can't use it's benefits unless they buy fastrack for the day or you use the GT / CT.
  2. I expect it'll be the same as I'm A Celeb, no general fastrack sold for a while but VIP holders will get fastrack, either using the disabled entrance or the actual fastrack queue point.
  3. In case anyone was interested (doubt it) but the extras that VIP holders now get has been added online. Adds a bit more value for money. http://www.merlinannualpass.co.uk/vip-attractions.aspx click on each attraction for details
  4. The preview night is today but only for VIP pass holders. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/exclusive-chessington-world-of-adventures-resort-howloween-preview-event-tickets-19151411387
  5. There's an Annual Pass Preview night Friday 10th July. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/summer-nights-annual-pass-preview-tickets-16957369950
  6. Hope you enjoy it, the photo book (travel journal) is sorta worth it, few pics of you at different backgrounds - £25.
  7. It's actually become apparent today the actual paid up renewals have hit 200 passes (so far) pass goes on general sale tomorrow at 9am and according to the terms it's only on sale for a month. Managed to find one of the Dungeon letters
  8. Seriously, you arrive and they take you straight to the lift and then your handed a wax sealed letter and a bag of coins. The letter talks of using the coins to get out of situations and can be used for priority death on the boat etc and tells you to make sure sure you keep that silver thingy round ye neck.
  9. With regards to the VIP lanyard if your wanting that bit extra your advised to wear the lanyard as staff may offer spontaneous VIP treatment. Even the Dungeons hand you a letter telling you to wear your lanyard so you can get fastrack access to the rides!
  10. My new lanyard is back in the box, won't use it.
  11. So new passes are about now, nothing has changed to the pass really. The pack has changed though, now get a V.I.P key ring (chunky) Lanyard (much more in your face) & holder along with a pin badge. The new Tips & Tricks booklet is now pocket sized and comes with a handy ring to clip it on your lanyard... so far judging by the numbers they've only sold 250ish (these are all paid up) they are however allowing people to "lock in" their renewal but not pay until old pass expires, just how many people actually pay up after that I don't know. Communication is already very poor and much the same as last year, the new booklet is already wrong as the VIP team made an error and listed a few kids rides as not being fastrack yet Thorpe Park confirmed fastrack is still available via the exit (you'd think these things were checked and double checked before sending to printers)
  12. The bus ride section broke for two sessions and some of the actors were a bit too fast with their script, not allowing guest participation, Cinderella in particular.
  13. Fingers crossed they fix the issues from today.
  14. Scarefest last year allowed you access if you were willing to use a Golden Ticket, Fright Nights gave us one entry per maze per day, a piece of paper that had to be signed by the VIP host on collection and then by each maze host.Last years T&C's excluded us from the mazes as well, but the "Tips & Tricks" booklet stated the opposite of the website, as usual two different answers.
  15. I read the statement to mean they took full responsibility for those that are injured and not that they accept responsibility for the incident.
