And then increase that by a pound every few months... the cheeky scamp. Anyway lets try and keep fastrack off of rides, not add it to ones that work fine without it.

All this gun crime is really depressing. I hate that some members of government think its because Teenagers are bored so find ways to amuse themselves. Rubbish. When I was 14 and bored I didn't think "I know I'll kill Timmy down the road because I need entertainment" so how can they use that as an excuse.

Unless you operate one. Then your practically a Fanboy god (Ps. I operate 2 rollercoasters )

There's to many rides I need to ride really. I could list some of them however Megafobia- Have been trying to ride this for agesKraken- Hopefully next year Hydra- Pwetty Unknown-

Oohh yeah.. the crash between Junction 6 and junction 7. Narrowly missed that this morning. I came on at Jct 7 for work and the M25 was clear, barely any traffic. Must have all been stuck around Clackett Lane. But think of it like this. You would have had to queue for hours anyway at Thorpe, at least you did it on the cheap

You are never going to tire in saying that are you And people wonder why my favourite ride is Tidal Wave Anywho My two cents. I like Fish. Many reasons but basically I like it because it isn't a ride designed solely to bring people into the park. Its testament to its unpopularity that on a day when Colossus and Stealth had 2 hour queues, Fishes was only 10 minutes. No one likes a park where everything is busy, there has to be a ride that doesn't quite fit the bill. Yes it is a joke, but it is a funny one and an enjoyable, solid ride. I much prefer Thorpe when its trying to add things for the guests enjoyment, not to make them queue. Fish and the Bear hunt are good examples of this. But back to Chessington, Mine train is clearly better, and with a higher throughput to

So if everything else has longish queues then surely of course Fish will have a queue. Besides that isn't what Seb was saying. It is a joke ride, it isn't even blessed with an LED queue board when even Rocky and Fungle Safari do..
-
What were the queues for other rides on that day just out of interest.

So as we all know Chessington have been a bit hammy on the rides front over the last 3 years however rumours are around that rides are to be added in Mexicana next to Runaway Train or where Rodeo used to lie. Other rumours doing the rounds are the removal of Safari Skyway and Runaway Train. What do we think?
-
Of course its posible, every ride has a limited life span, based on popularity and reliability. It's those two reasons which convinces me that Vampire will not be removed. Even with Fury which is significantly better, Vampire still gains the larger queues. Also it is technically a more reliable ride then Fury with very small downtime ever since its systems were redone by Vekoma. Not many people will remember how shocking the original Vampire's reliability was and how dangerous it potentially was. Vampire won't be removed for a long time as theres simpy no reason in removing a very popular rollercoaster.

I'm pretty well behaved actually.. I'm sure anyone whos been to thorpe with me and him knows I'm very very good
-
I find it interesting how reliability of Fury is hugely considered in your opinion of the ride whereas it is practically ignored when you think of Thorpe Anywho there isn't a "bad" ride on Fury, just some that are not as spinny as others. The foolproof way of getting a good start is to put all the weight on the back then lean to the right. It doesn't necessarily mean the parts after Lift 2 will be spinny but you have a better chance.

Don't ever go to a club or bar with me and my boyfriend then will you

UK fairs annoy me. 5 pound for a booster?! Thats to much for a ride that does very little exciting. German Fairs are amazing though. 4 Euros for 4 people to ride Breakdance No.1 the most amazing flat ride ever. The lights, the misters the strobes. Simply spellbinding.I Capirola is the most intense ride ever and I say if you see one anyhere.. RIDE IT. It had my screaming expletives and holding on for dear life. Its worse then it looks.

Yesterday whilst operating Jumbos I caught someones conversation about rides in the UK versus rides in specifically Islands of Adventure. It went along the lines of "all the rides over there have a story, over here you just queue and ride theres never anything to grab your attention".Its not only fanboys and enthusiasts who want more

I believe the Secret Weapon idea is now dead.. however I'm still holding out for that B&M floorless, Alton stylee

The infilling may create a huge theme park but it doesn't stop the fact you can see everything from most places in the park. Alton works because you can't just spin on the spot and see everything it has to offer right away. I'd love to have never been to the park and be discovering rides in every corner that I never knew about. What I think is a huge bonus and credit to the park is the fact that if you start in Forbidden Valley with Air, Nemesis and Ripsaw you may not see them for the rest of the day because of the amount of attractions in place and the size. It works well for it as I tire of being able to see everything on offer from the word go.My route round Alton is as follows *coughs*Air -> Nemesis -> Duel -> Runaway Mine Train -> Congo River Rapids -> Log Flume Unplugged -> Spinball Whizzer -> Oblivion -> Hex -> Rita: Queen of Speed -> CorkscrewWinning formula for getting the most out of the day

Awww the good old days. 3 rides really got me into theme parks; Vampire, Rameses Revenge and Samurai at Chessington. Nothing can beat the memories of walking into the South entrance and seeing a 6 armed gondola swinging majestically over the treetops. Samurai's reputation was one no other UK flat ride can beat. The ride had queues regularly over 2 hours, filling the whole of Mystic East and queues spreading way outside of the area.Oh and the ride was simply fantastic. I remember my last ride at Halloween well with the mister on and manually swinging round. Simply sublime and something it can never replicate at Thorpe is the out of control feeling.Samurai at Chessington: Can you handle it. Ooh I've got goosebumps

Oh Lord. I enjoyed it the other day however thats because it was a staff ride and we were allowed to splash each other. Riding whilst open to the public means the ride is bloody awful and a waste of time. Everytime I've ridden with someone whos never been on it they come off with a look of sheer boredom.
-
There both excellently themed however I think that the fact Haunted House did not have a story from the start means the frantic pace and sudden turns lends itself better to the shooting aspect. Tomb Blaster suffers from the stops which whilst necessary for throughput sakes means that the pace of the ride is very erratic. The stops at the Treasure part and the snake pit break up the action and are far to long.

Yesterday during a block shutdown the "ahhh you survived" played over and over again and I was in hysterics... Anyway I love Fury and believe it to be the UK's second best steel rollercoaster. It has a few drawbacks such as the small size of the car meaning slightly poor legroom but I think the ride experience more then makes up for it. Very good ride in the face of simple layouts such as Stealth, Colossus, Rita and Air.

Who exactly?
