Posted August 15, 201312 yr comment_165423 Hi guys and gals, Have been lurking on these forums for a good while. I have just received confirmation on an audition and interview for fright-nights actor. Has anyone ever been to one of these or annother interview run by TP? Could anyone tell me some tips and or what to expect for one of these. If all goes well hopefully ill be there making your nightmares real!
August 15, 201312 yr comment_165443 well I haven't been to an interview by thorpe, but a few tips from my experience from interviews. 1.Be yourself. Don't be someone your not at the interview that is!!- When acting you can't really be yourself too much... (you being someone else) 2. Breathe, and calm down 3. think about questions they might ask, but don't prepare too much, it needs to seem natural, and not you learning lines etc. 4. Audition- Be prepared to do anything-as long as you are comfortable with it. I go to a lot of acting/musicals auditions, and they threw the unexpected at me. 5. Think about how much you want the job/role(in this case). If you want it, it may help you perform better(that is for me anyway).

August 17, 201312 yr comment_165631 One bit of advice from me is not to be scared to be yourself. If your personality is eccentric and lively that can really suite a maze. Shy and docile can suite a maze. Any trait can in theory suit a scare actor, so be yourself...but stand out from the crowed.
