Posted January 15, 20169 yr comment_226187 Calling all you Londoners. What is it? Good question. It is arty stuff mixed with pretty lights Wher is it? 4 locations around London ( "across the West End and King's Cross" Mayfair, King's Cross, Piccadilly, Regent Street and St James's,Trafalgar Square and Westminster) When is it? Starts tonight and runs for 4 nights (14th to 17th Jan) Why the hell am I mentioning it on a theme park site? Ohh lots of reasons. 1) People who make theme park rides get there ideas for lighting from some where - I went to a similar arty thing called the Bell and bumped into Pete Cliff (guy who designs all the scarefest mazes and ents for Alton Towers). 2) If you have a good camera (mr toofpikk) then this is a briliant opportunity to get some excellent pics. Go take some amazing pics and post them here. You may inspre someone who can't get to London. 3) Because you may see something that will inspire you to greatness. January 15, 20169 yr comment_226190 I'm initially interested in seeing this, as I've heard exciting things about this event. For those going, how easy is it t navigate and what would be the best time frame to go around all of this?
January 15, 20169 yr comment_226193 IMO it fits perfectly being on a theme park site I went last night and what I saw at Kings Cross was very lovely to look at. On one of the buildings they had a 'Circus of light' show which me and Michelle both thought would of fitted quite perfectly to a closing show at a Theme Park. Like a right dumbed down version of dreams - Perfect for a Merlin Park

Merlin's version of dreams would be projections of Fastrack and AP logos with massive £ symbols and messages trying to persuade you to spend your money!!
January 15, 20169 yr comment_226201 It's no where near as good as Dreams NOOOOOOOoooooooooo but it was a great show against a building with some fancy lights and it reminded me of a very cheap version of Dreams. Quite impressive really according this is only a 4 day event!
January 18, 20169 yr comment_226592 So, I went yesterday and really enjoyed it. The squid on Oxford street was really striking. The elephant was impressive and best of all was the jumping men which I could have watched for hours. Only down sides were the staff shouting in your face and the bitterly cold weather .I shall Post some pictures tomorrow.
