    "so obviously there is a need otherwise they wouldn't sell them. And I bet they're as good a quality as the ipod earphones! (being the worst quality earphones I have ever used - I dont buy apple products, apart from 97p ones which I wanted to use for a day)"aha, they use speakers alongside macs in stores such as pc world to market the speakers aswell as the mac itself. so the customer can hear the quality of the speakers. there is no real need for speakers along a mac, as they provide surround cinematic quality as it is.& I'll have you know, the quality of the mac is almost as good as my surround bose system.. a much better quality then the ipod earphones -cough- (;

    The built in mac speakers have to be some of the best quality speakers ive heard. No distortion, nothing. Why would anyone feel the need to purchase others? with a mac, speakers are just 'plug in and play' via usb ports.

    I'm not forced to use anything apple. their products are far better and less hassle that I want to use them. I can get anything a pc can just, in a mac format. that quite frankly, would probably work better.& as for the out of the box start, with a dell you'd have to pug in all the speakers, webcam, tower to monitor etc. with a mac, stick it in the plug & within under 20secs your ready to use.

    "Then people start to use them more, and they gain more of a market share, then viruses will start to be made for Mac's!"If it was so easy to create a virus for a mac, someone would have done it by now. What does size matter to viruses anyway? Everything is so simple on a mac, its made for people who dont need to be asked "Are you sure you wish to close?" "Closing this will end the program!" "Sure?"If a mac dosent suit you, fine. But dont go about saying their terrible machines. Far from it. You simply cant involve market share into this argument I'm afraid. Just because the majority of people dont own a mac, dosent mean to say its not worse then a PC. Infact, far from it. Let me put it this way; how many people do you know whom own a ferrari? hm, little I suspect. The mac is the ferrari of the computer industry. Not many people own one, but it dosent mean to say its terrible.

    Ive used pc all my life, until now. & ive never experienced anything like this before.Everything, just.. works?I think a mac is worth its price tag. regardless.edit; oh, & vista has to be the biggest rip of a mac system ive ever seen. they obviously have to go by mac OS to discover what people really want out of a computer.

    "for the sake of a few cm"Those 'few cm's' can make all the difference when you rely on a notebook. out and about you'd want the smallest, lightest one available. You wouldn't want to be lugging about a huge box/case for your notebook/laptop. Tbh, I'd rather pay that bit extra for the Apple quality build & performance. Its more powerful then most laptops currently on the market, so really. I urge to you have a look at its specs, its genius.

    Nemesis

    Now, ive done both & found that inferno (in comparison) wasnt actually that bad.. infact, somewhat out performed its original.Dont get me wrong or anything, I was geared up to ride nemesis thinking it was going to be the dogs, so much better then inferno etc etc. But didnt live up to all the buzz & hype 'atmosphere' that people had created. Great ride & everything, but, nothing special. I think its the thought of it being the first steel & everything that puts people in a frame of mind that it is actually better.
  23. Hm, I tried doing this some time early last year. But decided my story was too long & complex. So, long story short;The first time I went to the park was around 1993-1996. I recall the memories of 1996 somewhat more.. so I'll go by that. Being young & everything, the atmosphere for me was immense! The people, the rides and music. & seeing the hype over the new dark coaster, x/nwo. Back when even looking at the entrance scared me.It was somewhere to just get away & enjoy yourself really. To use the boats to get to one side of the park to another was someting too, or the hudson river rafts. Health & safety would have slaughtered thorpe for a ride like that nowadays.& to this day I still find the atmosphere of the park somewhat.. amazing, breathtaking? Whatever you want to call it, it gives me a feel that nowhere else in the world can. So, as I grew older I tried searching for people who share my love for the park & try to research more into the park itself. & thats about all there is too it.. well, theres a lot more to it if I'm being honest, but thats the basics. I dont wanna bore you (:so, yeah. that brings me to the present day! still growing up around thorpe & hope to be for years to come.
