  1. I personally think that development will slow down a little, after 2009. I really do not like slagging off Tussauds, but at the way Thorpe is going, it worries me to think of where Thorpe will be in 10 years' time. It's upsetting, it's like seeing your baby being taken by smoking, or drugs, or something similar. The sad thing is, it can all be sorted out with one years' worth of no investment, but just money being applied in the right places.Never going to happen under current management though. One part of me wants to go back the golden days- the 90s. Back before Tussauds was sold to Charter House- the begining of "the parks' " demise.

I was looking out of my window. There was something so humbling about all those stars. I felt so insignificant, but but it was a nice feeling.
  3. Does it really matter that much though?Let me think of another ride I've been stuck on... I don't think I've ever been stuck on a ride at Thorpe, apart from the once on Tidal Wave. What does happen to me alot though, is going into queues, and the ride breaking down then.I remember one day, when literally, 6 rides broke down in a row. It was soo frustrating.

Yeah I've had my BCG. I can honestly say that it was the most paintful injection I've ever had. Actually having the injection was ok, but in the seconds after it really hurt. Also you get the skanky scab/ blister type thing. Lol... I'm actually poking my scar as I speak. I had an MMR booster in 2005. It was nothing. Not painful at all. Although I guess with all injections you get a little bruising.

As Holly says, just relax. If you tense up, it makes it harder to get the needle through your muscle.Don't look at the needle. I used to be really scared of injections. But you'll realize that there are worse things that you'll do.
  6. Thorpe Park does own quite alot of land, granted. Howver, the only problem that they have when infilling lakes is that they have to compensate the water lost by flooding another area. This therefore, becomes very difficult when there is literally no room left. Can you imagine when Thorpe finally reach that point? They will then regret doing things the way that they have been, and when there is literally no room left to build, things will either have to be removd- o sore subject, or things will have to be looked at again and improved (like that's gonna happen). The idea of a hotel at Thorpe is an ambitious one, I just hope they can pull it off....

That is something that I'd love to do. I love the different moods/ ambience that lighting and sound can produce. How did you get into that out of intrest; I'd love to start researching and stuff.

Can someone please tell me where I said X would be going next year. I'm started to get paranoid.

Did I?! :mellow:God that seems like ages away. I would have finshed uni by then (if I'm actually going) That's scary tbh.Whatever takes its place, it has to be a better ride than what it already is... surely.

Is it under your jaw. I have on of them too. I've had it for years, so it can't be anything serious. It gets tender sometimes too. I'm sure it's nothing too worry about. But if you're worried, consult your nearest doctor.

Well said!I think the worst bit about the re- theme for me was the re-paint of the boats, the "splash zone" thingy, the painting of the bridge, oh yeah, and not to mention the destruction of the queueline. So that covers most of it then. The thing is, perhaps it would be forgiven a little if some of the old effects were working again. I know they get the church organ going but that's it. I haven't seen the water tower work in ages, the gas ball hasn't worked for years (obvious reasons) and although I personally have never seen the telegraph poles "spark" it seems that that hasn't worked for years also.It would be nice if they sorted out the entrance lighting too for summer evenings and Fright Nights. After all, we've had the sponsor, but as of yet we haven't seen any added theming. Something for this season?Who knows...(and no jokes about "Thorpe Park know")
  17. We need a birthday topic!!Today, I would like to wish Cringle a very happy 16th birthday!!Woooo!Enjoy all the legal sex!

Indeed. My main aim in life is to go around destroying people's pathetic petty lives in aid of some light entertainment. You should all try it really, it's fun.AND LOL!!! I love the way how Phill has censored the word bitch, but not the word s**t. :(And I apoligise, but you were the one that said you were on viagra, and you wondered why a certain body part kept sticking out.... your ears Haha, "my nose grows"

I can't sleep... alot on my mind tonight. So to pass the time, I decided to watch videos of the fireworks in London at New Year's eve. I like the way they used red on the Eye at the begining- u subtle hint that Red Nose Day was to be launched there?

HAHA! Be patient my friend. It starts in May, until last year it was the last Friday in May. But now that they seem to be getting longer, it will probably start on the second week in May- like last year. I think it started on the second Thursday in May.They might do the launch midweek again this year, seeing as it got the most viewings for a BB launch this year.Hope that helps.

  24. HAHA! I love your tour of X.Glad you had a good day, and a nice bit of timing with the Colossus breakdown and the "depressing" bit of the soundtrack. If anybody knows what I'm on about.
