  1. I will add it to the top momentarily! And the fonts, still the same size as old skin, promise!
  2. Font size has actually been made bigger. Odd . And Quick Edit will be returning shortly, whilst we tweak it a little.
  3. What font? It's exactly the same as it's always been...
  4. Thanks for pointing those out, will fix shortly!
  5. It does. Click your name, then click profile!
  6. Hey Guys,As you can see we have a new forum skin that we're currently trialing, and we basically just want your feedback on it. We've hidden a lot of 'clutter' from posts, so everyone can focus on the discussion at hand. Also we've added "One Click Reporting", which makes reporting posts even easier, so we can have a more fun, and clean community. Search bar has been added to the top right, so there is no excuse not to search for existing topics! So let us know what you think, thanks!
  7. I don't understand how it can be more square, when the original was square too. Now it has gradients to make it softer, so... anyways it's only a test atm.
  8. Urrm... no one said any of that at behind the loops. You've been serverly misslead! Samurai re-theme is just a rumour, and always has been. The only people who know are the park themselves I'm afraid!
  9. You saw nothing
  10. They're part of a new skin we're rolling out (tonight/tomorrow), more changes to come!

Yeah it was a joke about auto search.

It auto completes = ITS A HUGE PROBLEM.Sure you'll disagree now though. Seriously, let the Mac user handle this one. CD's get stuck rarely, cos of the slot loading. It's not a hardware problem, nor a software problem, if you have a Finder relaunch it sometimes doesn't pick up there is a CD in there, and so you cant eject something that it doesn't think is there. Its simple enough to get a disc out, just restart, and hold the mouse button down, and it'll pop right out.Crisis averted.

You can get it courier collected silly, I was going by the assumption the store was the closest. In that case ring up Apple on the support number that came with your Mac, they'll try diagnose it over the phone, and send someone to collect it otherwise. Failing that they'll tell you a place to drop it off that is closer.

Not heard of your issues before. Your iMac is covered for a year (if it breaks, they'll repair it), you just only get 3 months PHONE support. The best thing to do is to book a place at the Genius bar at the Apple store, and you can explain your problems to them, and they'll sit down with you and diagnosis what's on. If necessary they'll do a repair there and then, and tell you to come back later on to pick it up.Apple customer support is the best of any company, ever, they'll be happy to fix / ask any questions you have. My MacBook was repaired there and then in a heartbeat, no questions asked. http://www.apple.com/uk/retail/
  15. Phills thought of the day: Movies have age restrictions. Perhaps Project Dylan will have a pre-show video? Or, animatronics in the dark section? Who knows...
  16. Phill replied to Cringle's topic in The Forums
3rd for me. Depends on your searching history, and a lot of other factors!
  17. Nope, it's on the planning applications, which you can view for yourself on the councils website. 100% Serious!
  18. Due to a glitch, we've temporarily lost the Dylan topic. So here is a filler one until we can get it back. Codename: Project DylanFinal Name: Anounced 13.10.08Top Speed: 55MPHHeight: 110FTVertical Drop: 100 Degrees, 2nd steepest on earthGet set for 2009, as Thorpe Park gets ready to unleash their ultimate new scream machine, Project Dylan, a 100ft, beyond vertical drop Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter roller-coaster. Situated in Canada Creek, this will be one of the parks grimmest attractions yet. Complete with dark sections, who knows what surprises may lurk inside.Riders will begin in the station building, where the car will then move forwards and proceed to spiral down further into the building, turn after turn, dodging obstacles before entering a Zero-G roll and coast out the building. The car will then position itself to climb the 100ft (30m) vertical lift hill, before cresting and plummeting riders down the 100 degree drop, reaching speeds of over 50mph. Narrowly missing theming (known as the 'head chopper' effect) riders are then swept into a Immelmann loop, round turns, over airtime hills and then climaxing with the final inversion, a dive loop, before cruising back on into the station.Unconfirmed * The ride will have an age restriction of 15+ years, as it'll be heavily based and themed around a horror film. * Samurai will be re-themed into Canada Creek for the opening of the coaster.Weird Fun Facts * The windmill, part of the theming, will not be allowed to spin as Runnymede Council said it would interfere with Heathrow airports radar aviation control systems. * This will be Thorpe Parks sixth roller coaster (Flying Fish, X No Way Out, Colossus, Nemesis Inferno and Stealth).
  19. Hey, and welcome. We're having some slight technical difficulties at present, but we are working to resolve these quickly. If you see anything else strange, please report it to the team at pleasestandclear[at]googlemail.com.Thanks!

Thorpe Park Mania is happy to announce that we are now the 'Official THORPE PARK Fansite'. We're working on getting the other sections up, they should appear later tonight or tomorrow. Technical glitch!
  22. Because some members boost their post count up in the off topic area, and when new members come along, they see a member with a high post count, and assume they're all knowledgeable in the area of Thorpe/Chessington/Alton/Whatever, when in actual fact they're supreme ruler of the Random Spamothon. It's difficult to go in much more detail than that, all you need to know is that its done
  23. The simple answer is that they take a while to update. Long answer is that post counts are cached to reduce server load, and only updated at random intervals.
  24. Well as I said, they were considering one, but when you look at Thorpes PRIMARY audience, they're not the kind to opt for a CD. It would work better at Alton, definitely, just not enough content for Thorpe, or the right market.
  25. Thorpe Park were doing a CD I think, but the only way to do it was to mass produce, and they wanted to trial it first, so it never happened. Plus I think it's a niche market. It works better for parks like Disney with a huge library of music, which is kinda more sing along.
