Probably to save time.If the Ride Host was arguing with someone in the Exit Pass Queue and the gates were still open. They probably thought it was easier and more benefitial (sp?) to fill another two seats to try and reduce the queuing time.This way, the normal queue is being reduced, and the ride host is still having a debate with the exit pass person!

I am glad I can still hear the amazing ROAR of Colossus!I agree with Tim, Colossus does not vibrate as much as it used to.You say Colossus still hurts on the Cobra Roll;Am I the only one that Colossus did not hurt before the changes were made on the ride?! :)On my last visit to Thorpe, Colossus was running all day without stopping on the lift hill once!Glad to see it is running smoothly!

I am also from East Sussex.It will take about 3 hours drive to Alton Towers won't it?Lets hope traffic is on your side.Last time I went, it took me 6 hours as there was an accident on the M25 and major roadworks on the M1.I could be nice not going straight to the park, if you are the driver, so then you can have a break.(Even if it is just 15 minutes away! )If you are an Annual Pass Holder, on boooking online, I would definately go for ERT!Have a great day and I hope All Rides and Attractions are available for you on the day!

As you are going during the week day, I would assume that you would be able to get everything done in one day.If you are the driver, then you may wish to stay overnight as it can be quite alot for some.Or you may just want another day in the park, like I did :)On my first visit...First day was really sunny and the queues were 90 mins.Next day was pelting down with rain and the maxamum queue was Air at 15 mins. The rest were 10 mins maxamum all day!

This is not wrong at all!Ryan and Steve are correct.No normal queuers can use the back 2 rows unless you are an Exit Pass Holder or a Disabled Guest.The Vampire ride team usually allow people to use the back 2 rows if there is no one waiting (Exit Pass or Disabled Guests) to use the back 2 rows.This is usually allowed if Vampire is on a 2 train operation.However, If Vampire is on a 3 train operation. You are asked to take the 2 seats directly in front of you only as when there is 3 trains, the staff need to try to meet a 25 second dispatch time. There is sometimes just no time to allow 6 people through a gate at the back, whilst also meeting the dispatch time for the amount of trains in use on the track.

The only back up to Thorpe is that is says that the events are subject to change without notice.But I 100% understand what you are saying Paul and advertising should be put up stating that it is cancelled.

You can take the 2 back seats providing there is no one on the exit to take them.However, Usually if the Vampire is on a 3 train operation, they ask you to take the 2 seats directly in front of you only.
