  1. Got a link for it music man!
  2. Ok then, I can compramsie with that! What would you add then James?
  3. Yeah!!! Back up!
  4. I like the Dolly Parton on Loggers Leap!5,6,7,8? have not heard that on Loggers Leap.only heard by Dolly - 9 to 5 (which is great! )and you hear - rocks and trees. -here you come againJust thought, I have not been on Loggers Leap yet this year or Colossus, or Rush or Rumba Rapids :Dlast time I have been to THORPE PARK was 14th Feb! but been at Chessington & Zoo!
  5. I am a Colossus fan boy so I will have to back up Colossus there. I love it though in the Barrel Rolls/Inline Twists because I just loving coming out of my seat. But I have to agree, Nemesis Inferno restraints feel safest and the seats are really comfortable!

I did not know Rush was a prototype!!!You learn something new everyday as they say Are any other rides at THORPE PARK prototypes like Rush was?
  7. Yes, Chessington & Zoo are not allowed to build anything that is above tree height.I think the maximum is about 59/60ft as Dragon's Fury is 59.1ft.Hope this helps!

I have noticed that too!the swing that is usually in operation if on one swing. (near Rush control panel) seems higher than the one nearer Colossus.
  9. Thank you chessington geek. Ill be geek 2. should fit in nicely with the geeky chessington workers. only joking! This is why I run to Vampire (1st on!), then do the others like Tomb Blaster, Rattlesnake, Runaway Train, Bubbleworks, Safari Skyway (if warm! )then go to Dragon's Fury, then I do not have to queue long! Thanks for the info! (as always )
  10. Thank you! Anything you don't know about Chessington?! Unusual to see Dragon's Fury to be the same as Vampire.Either you lot on Dragon's Fury are speeding up or Vampire are slowing down. (bad example if Vampire slowing down for me stating wanting to work in Area 1 )
  11. I agree!, the more of the 'unsafe' feeling. The more 'dangerous' thrill you get!Anyway, to answer the question...Feel safest in Nemesis Inferno restraints.
  12. I also agree 100% of what Mark said. I would like ot see another ride like Dragon's Fury or Vampire though but Chessington may not have much ride funding, but what park can get higher gate figures. Also, a busy day at chessington is NEVER the same as THORPE PARK.e.g.Vampire = 50 minsColossus = 180 mins.Once again, I agree 100% to what Mark said. Also, does anyone know what the queues were like today at Chessington & Zoo?Just Curious!
  13. Hey James (6)!Did you go to Chessington & Zoo today or did you end up going to THORPE PARK?
  14. themeparkmad replied to Artie's topic in The Past
Slammer and Zodiac are the only rides at THORPE PARK you will Never see me on!
  15. Heya! I am Keith and I am 16. 17 in September! DRIVING!!!!Been on Mania Hub since June 08!I am from Hove which is in East Sussex! (despite the West Sussex shown on someones comment above! )I am the biggest fan of Vampire you will ever meet and want to work at Chessington next year but a bit unsure weither to. Thats It!, I will go know by exiting to the left!
  16. I have done it and would not be dissapointed if I could NEVER do it again!I hate it !
  17. It is amazing what an explaination can do by a friend!
  18. have you ever thought of working at a theme park and giving this information to a member that is only there for the rides and don't talk about it after. (if you get what I mean). There jaw would drop in astonishment!!!
  19. I am good with technical aspects but fudge, that was technical!
  20. Is the flume music still played on Depth Charge? As I did not hear it last time when I was at THORPE PARK.
  21. I agree with you with that !
  22. Do you advertise of the queue line board the exact waiting time or do you increase it. you say 80 minutes, so did you put it as 90 mins?
  23. I think I might be able to answer that, probably 90 minutes but if raining. errr.... 70 mins?Am I right? Let me know Mark I think James Rush does close in bad weather conditions. Not sure on Samurai or Slammer though. You should of been in Brighton Mark as we had great sunshine. Long way for me to go if want to wrk next year at Chessington. probably will though
  24. Wish I was there if they were going as fast as they sound! Good spin with 2 people! Ok, I am becoming obcessed with Dragon's Fury!Cheers Mark for explaining all of that to James!
  25. Not just saying this, but Chessington. Most of the main rides at THORPE PARK, e.g. Colossus, Stealth and Nemesis Inferno are affected by adverse weather conditions and can close until weather conditions improve. Even Rumba Rapids when I was there!Whereas, Chessington usually still let you ride things such as Vampire, Rattlesnake, Runaway Train and Dragon's Fury. (which are great in the rain!)The best person, if he is on this post, is to ask Mark 9 on advice on Dragon's Fury when raining as he is the operator! (I'm jealous!)
