Once again I have a rant, And I am currently in a ranting mood so be warned lol.Anyway, My rant is how many newbs are on here and dont know anything about Thorpe Park or theme parks in general. Its really annoying me now there have been some of the most annoying posts recently like a post saying that Cedar point is smaller in size to Thorpe Park but yet has more coasters etc. As far as I remember Cedar Point is alot larger in size and even if not perhaps the reason Thorpe Park is built on an island might possibly be the reason it doesnt have as many coasters. It is just common sense.Also the whole site has been going down recently due to some newb's making stupid posts and then getting into arguements etc. Alot of the "old" TPMers have left the site and dont visit or post anymore and this is really shocking. There was some great people on this site and I am glad ive gotten the opportunity to meet them and be friends with them. But now they have gone or are not as frequently on here and it is being taken over by Newbs who know nothing and argue all the time is really annoying.I hate seeing such a good site which is well run and has great Mods to slowly get worse and worse. And alot of members leave. Well thats my rant over.

Although I have been on the site for almost a year now. I not 100% sure if posted here already lol. Even if I have I will reintro myself as I have been away for a few months.I'm Skunky the worlds first Human/Skunk mix. My actual name is James but keep it as Skunk or Skunky on here. As I am employed by Merlin Entertainments I am under strict contract with relation to Internet forums. I'm 20 21 on May 26th and I can be a bit harsh but I am fair with what I say so be warned but dont take it personally.

As some people know I have not been on here for a long time there are a few reasons for this but I dont want to go into them. But as I am now back its time to get the Skunk back into clearing things up. This is not true at all. If you are seasonal staff which most of merlin employees are then it is an Hourly rate of under £6 an hour for most departments within the parks. The only execptions are the London attractions and the more "experienced" roles within the parks such as Security and First Aid.Also just to clear up why the Chessington Discussions are not as popular perhaps its in the sites name THORPE PARK mania not Chessington Mania so therefore most of the people on here are fans of Thorpe Park surprisingly.

Its not that hard to see them from the crossroads. Perhaps he had a telescope and was zooming in and could even see the piece of pigeon poo on the top of the camera lol

Rumba Rapids was open today having had a piece of work done on it. The Waterfall near the start has been completely taken out of it now and it is just an empty space where the rock used to be and waterfall.

The reason the 1st lift hill PA cant be used is due to Monkey Puzzle and Hotel being next to it. And I mean as in the ride sound levels in general Audio and Ride noise.And Yes I worked at Chessington Last season so I am happy to answer any questions you may have within reason.

You know what really Grinds My Gears.Is when someone who your meant to be mates with slags you off behind your back.I mean you help them out in alot of situations some which you don't need to do but you do to help them as you care for them. Then all of a sudden you find out they have slagged you off behind your back and say stuff like you have no personality and that your very annoying to be around. Its like what the **** if you have something to say then say it to my face. I mean you talk to them and try your hardest to help them out etc and you get treated like your a piece of ****.Its so ****ing annoying and it makes me want to punch them so much. I mean if you have feelings for them that makes it worse and they are just on big son of a bitch. Also another thing is that they are a hipocrit its like what the **** first you slag me off make me feel like **** and now your a hypocrit. Its like sort it out after all that I have done you go and do this. Especially when they talk to you about commiting suicide etc and your there to help and comfort them and now its like what was the point? I mean when you feel like you want to be with them more and might even like them more than a mate its even worse.Argh I'm going to stop now otherwise I will go on and on. Well from the person with no personality, Dull, Ruins things and is annoying aparantly I have officaily finished woohoo

Just to correct that slightly Chessington does have a height limit but its not really tree height for example Peeking Heights and Dragon Falls.The main thing for Chessington is that it can't be seen from the road with the exception of peeking and Vampire. Its more a noise issue for Chessington. Also the overall height of a ride doesn't really matter as Rameses is 60ft tall but is built in a ditch.

Right guys just to clear things up. As said before can everyone please stop with the constant arguing between eachother on the forums. At the moment everyone is jumping on the band wagon as soon as ThemeParkBloke says something. Everyone is allowed their own opinions and if it does not stop soon I am sure the admin will ban all involved.Also to clear up the whole coaster/flat debate. Although I did say it will be a flat please remember that this is just something I have been told it is in no way 100% accurate or guarenteed. For all we know there could be a new coaster going in Fungle's space within the next 2-3 years. I think the space is more suited to a flat ride rather than a new coaster.So can we all stop with the arguing and slagging off other members this is one reason that alot of people leave the forum and do not attend the meets. As you can see Mark9 has already posted on here and has stated he is annoyed so I am sure the next person to jump onto having an arguement or slagging off someone wether it is ThemeParkBloke or anyone is likely to get a warn or even banned.

I agree with Sheepie with this all staff members are there to be like that you need to have that extra edge and excitment to your personal self to work there. I would rather that than some guy going " get off now collect your bags and just leave please" being all suicidal.

Yeah when I was walking into the park from the main road could hear Colossus and Saw effects. The thing that annoys me is when people living near the parks moan about the noise etc. I mean you moved to a house next to a theme park what do you expect. I think whatever Merlin decides to do to Thorpe over the next few years will be great additions to an already great park. I think next year will be more based around Alton and Chessington as both those parks have not had anything major recently especially Chessington where the last major thing was Dragon's Fury.

That is very true although it had been along time since Colossus was built and its not that close to it where as Fungle is Right next to the exit of N.Inferno. I think the next coaster will be on the infills near Stealth. Nothing has been decided as of yet and as everyone knows nothing is predictable, Theme Parks will always keep things quiet for as long as they can it adds to the excitment.Just to add I would love to see a coaster next to N.Inferno a bit like Duelling Dragons I think that same thing with N.Inferno would be pretty nice. I don't agree with a Flying Coaster I am not a big fan of them although I would love to see a Water Coaster sometime soon.

Nothing is confirmed as of yet so its all speculation. They could always do what they done with Fungle and shut the ride early for the Asylum or have 2 Q lines one for each. Thorpe will look at all aspects of things first, they know what they are doing.

Sorry about that fever I didn't mean to offend you or make it sound the way your saying it does. I was just stating that so that I could get my point across to Theme Park Bloke about the fact it will not be a coaster as there is no point right next to NInferno. I agree with what Fever said it is not likely to be anything major due to the ammount of money currently being invested in SW6 as well as the contracts running out on Beanoland and Imperial Leather at Chessington. Thorpe Park got the Major new attraction this year so it will likely be a flat ride.Also Guys can we keep this on-topic and please don't be harsh to other members, I understand I said something about ThemeParkBlokes post but that was just about the coaster. There is no need for other members to start slagging him off and members arguing on the forum. Please in future be nice to other members and keep the posts on topic. This not only makes it nicer for other members but will keep the admin team happy as they do not want to sit there reading reported posts for no reason.

As I stated I am unable to say what I have heard as I was informed by someone employed by Merlin. If what the person said is true then it is likely to be next year and will be a flat ride but will not be anything like Duel or Tomb Blaster.

Every single one is amazing Saw 2 has a great storyline 1 has the best twist in the film. Being a Saw :the movie fanboy I have seen everyone at least 5 times and still love them. When I get paid from my new job I'm going to be buying the billy puppet from Saw:Store.
