  1. The white tent thing makes me think thorpe have something else up their sleeve. If they do I want something silent hill related lol x probably just being hopeful there. It might be like a changinf place for actors or something
  2. I'm not too sure. Would be good to find out then that way we could judge by the size of the area on what we could be expecting
  3. Just realised that Silent Hill is lionsgate. I would of absolutely loved this. I was really annoyed that halloween horror nights did it and I couldnt go. Thorpe park should do silent hill next time. I would be there 24 hours a day.
  4. I dont know about the planning permission thing as I think paultons has a contract which allows them to build rides with planning as long as it stays within the requirments or something. Would be good for a nice coaster though as it was 2006Cobra when we saw the last one.
  5. I remember Magma had a similar advertising technique. Hopefully something thrilling for next year. Or a haunted house would be good.
  6. Paultons Park Official facebook page is showing a picture of something which I suspect will be new for 2015? Anyone have any ideas?
  7. Does anyone have an inkling of when this will be officially revealed?
  8. They probably wont have The Asylum there this year after the drama cause by that woman last year. So wonder whether they will replace this with another Lionsgate maze or just leave it a vacant space! I would love Lionsgate to make a scary film called The Asylum and then Thorpe Park could keep it the same lol. Imagine the papers. I wouldn't say no to a Texas Chainsaw maze though!
  9. Can someone find out if they are doing the handouts of the fright night maps this year like they have done previous. Thanks Have a good night if you are going tonight. Ill be there tomorrow... cant wait.
  10. Thats what I'm thinking... this also links with my previous post about the advert taking so long. Maybe they are building up for one final reveal! Watched Dead Silence the other day. Thought it was from Lionsgate but there was no mention of them during the opening credits, just universal!
  11. This Advert is taking a long time. Fright Nights gonna be started before its on at this rate. I must say Thorpe you do love to drag these things out.
  12. Hi. Thorpe Park. Are you doing maps on the day for Fright Nights this year?
  13. I'm a bit annoyed that asylum is returning. Has the incredible line up of lionsgate film attractions and they dump an old maze in there. No originality. I would of liked dead silence or chainsaw massacre. Its gonna feel like the same fright nights. Not as much of a revamp I was hoping for.
  14. This is what I said; ME: I am phoneing up to enquire about the fright night on 19th october. can I book that over the phone with you? TP: Booking details for the event will be released soon, it is going to be exciting as there is a new horror attraction coming your way. ME: I know I'm very excited about this, they are releasing details about this today arent they? TP: Yes these details will be released shortely, I have been told that there will be a £3 entrance fee to this attraction. ME: Oh right, Why is there an extra charge as the prices for fright nights already are increased? TP: It is because the maze includes a world first element. ME: Oh Right TP: Is there anything else we can help you with? ME: Yea can you confirm the family and friend discount price for that day using a merlin annual pass? TP: Thorpe Park have not eyt decided whether or not to put the family and friend discount in place for this event. But there final decition will be made and released in due course. ME: Ok, Thank you. Hope this gives a bit of outline as to how the conversation went ... to me it just doesnt seem fair as an annual pass holder! He also mentioned that the other mazes as usual would be included in the price.
  15. I phoned up wanting to book, which apparently I cant do for another few weeks over the phone
  16. Whatever the new attraction is I found out that there will be a £3 charge for it. Merlin Pass holders may not be able to use their family and friends discount on fright night days which seems unfair as we pay the money for the passes to use the perks but obviously they want to be greedy and make everyone pay more. Also £3 charge for the attractions seems a bit unfair ok I no its only £3 but the entry price doesnt compensate for this in fact I believe they are still dearer tickets. The reason why I dont go to Alton Towers scarefest because its a rip off and you have to pay for each attraction as well as an overcharged entrance price if thorpe park are starting to do this I dont think I will be attending in future!... Sorry had to get this rant off my chest!
