I really miss all the old mazes (Se7en, Asylum, The Curse, & Experiment 10) Particularly Se7en, it was my favourite

I don't mind storm surge purely due to the fact that every time I've visited since it's been there it's had one of the longest queues in the park the way I see it, all the people that decided to queue that long for it are people that could otherwise be taking up space in whichever ride I've decided to queue for, so all is good. The only time it's had a short queue on my visit is the one time I decided to try it out and to say the least I was disappointed It's not even like Loggers leap where it's usually only the people you're with that are in the same boat so you can have a laugh, we had to awkwardly sit opposite a group of people on a ride that isn't capable of focusing your attention on anything else but that might just be my social skills

Does anyone know how much space Revenge of the Mummy takes up? Was watching a lights on POV and noticed it's not actually very tall then wondered if the proposed space at Thorpe is practical to fit something similar

Because he said he goes for the rides, a good enough reason to keep going in my opinion, considering they're good rides and no other park has them nearby.. He's not the only person I've heard complain about everything else other than the rides, I don't see why everyone's acting as if it's a ridiculous opinion to have.. On another note I'd be sad to see Pizza Pasta replace the hut, I don't have an annual pass and doesn't that make it even more expensive than Pizza hut? Either way, I've eaten at the Pizza Pasta at Alton and imo it's not quite as good as the hut

I hope we get lots of the Saw the ride type advertising we got throughout the year before it opened, I'm kinda gutted it's an indoor ride as we won't see much construction Hopefully it wont be too long before we got some kind of theme hints

If the ride bothers you so much then just don't go on it problem solved I've been on it once since it's opened and usually forget it's even in the park, no point being bothered by it because it's there either way

I agree, it's what I like about Alton, wouldn't neciserely call them all 'relaxing' but I know what you mean... Rides you can actually go on to spend some time sitting down that aren't over within 60 seconds but are still providing some entertainment that isn't throwing you in every direction, I also find these kind of rides give a much better feel of 'escapism'

More excited for this than I've been for any of our current theme park's developments Shame opening is so far away, could be the best theme-park related thing we've ever had in this country

Yeah it's the room that's usually too dark to even find your way through although I remember it's meant to have someone on the table with the lights on when you first go in, then the lights flicker off and when they turn back on the person's gone from the table and comes running at you from a different direction

I knew Saw Alive was detailed but I never realised it was THAT detailed

Especially when the pizza there seems to have a magic 'fill you up' ingredient that means you usually can't even eat the equivalent of a usual pizza hut medium size :'(

Good tactic although with Thorpe's usual crowd it'd probably encourage them to take even longer
