Get a sence of humour? Jog on mate, I've had enough of peope telling me a live a sad life for growing up a stones throw from Thorpe in comparison to others. I'll just go blaime my mother for bringing me up in the vincinity yeh?
Yeh sorry I dont live in Stoke I live in eyesight of the park.... Only reason I said Thorpe was because where else woudl you find it? I'm sure you wouldnt stroll down staines highstreet and see this there... Seriously if I live in staines I'm going to go to staines
Yeh but if they are smart enough they can plan a 'explosion' in 2012, and thereforeafter this ride is the remains of a nuclear explosion for instance 'Chernobyl disaster' in Ukraine involving a huge nuclear devastation. People still do not live in Prypiat alongside Chernobyl. Both been abandoned for 24 years. It doesn't necessarily have to fit the 'end of the world' Just a massive devastation...
I would more say ' no longer physically operational' - As its not really broken, just has no gas tank to enduce the fire :)Nonetheless, these models are primarly the best I have ever seen! I would help but I am an abomination at google sketch-up!
Luckily Thorpe are in the position that they offer the most employment in a single business in the area and bring a lot of tourism to the area. Which in the eyes of the Council is a major plus. With the park developing more and more more things can surface such as employment levels which inevitably will only go up decreasing, unemployment in the area. I would be shocked if Runnymeade where to decline a project which has only plus sides to it. I have been told relationships between the park and the borough council are quite signicantly good. You mention about the picture being subtle advertising.. I wouldn't in my eyes class this as advertising purely because it wass directed only at the forums and only clears the project name and possibly the theme. This is more an annoucment of the rides base. Not showing off what they havent as of yet got. But that's my take on the picture.
I just noticed on the FIRST picture it had Cafe Nero... :)And I always wondered if Thorpe would notice that Amity being based around an America fishing port it would be 'Amity Motel' Not Hotel.
