  1. I would not guarantee anything however I'm sure the Guest Services department will do all that they can to help. The fact that you used a Tesco voucher should not make too much of a difference, just make sure you enclose your ticket within the letter as I'm sure it will save alot of hassle. This has been said a good 5 times already. Thorpe Park do hope to re-open saw tomorrow.
  2. This was also done yesterday
  3. Free return entry tickets for those who paid to get into the park today. Fastrack would have been issued to Annual Pass holders.
  4. They where being issued once you exited the park on the left at the advanced sales kiosks.
  5. The park where issuing free tickets upon exit today anyway. If you do wish to complain in order to gain some form of compensation I hope that you have retained proof of purchase of the tickets that you used today.
  6. had grabbed her ankle". I'd love to know how, 'cos there's a fence separating the normal queue from the fastrack queue, and another between fastrack and ."Oh and we heard some velcro on the leg bits. Atmosphere temporarily lost there! Glad to hear you enjoyed the ride. Actors would be able to grab people ankles as there is a small gap between the bottom of the fencing and the floor, the only time I saw this happen it was infact the other way around when somebody thought it would be clever to grab one of the actors ankles. They failed.I was also there on Friday with Mark and Marc, we rode it many times and I definitely think that the ride is a brilliant addition to the park, the themeing however did seem slightly in-complete with the second indoor section missing something fairly important. Am also wondering as to whether or not the outside ride area is actually meant to look like a building site or whether or not it was just left looking as it is due to lack of time, either way it doesn't look to good outside in the ride area. But yeah, criticism aside, the indoors station is brilliant and the ride itself is fairly intense (even if it may not be the same now but we will have to wait and see)
  7. How do you know this?
  8. Yes, we know , there is a topic for it, does it have to be posted in every single other topic.
  9. Well thats your own problem then, if Thorpe Park could tell the future, I am sure they would have told you whether the ride was going to open or not, but unfortunately at this time they are not able to do this.
  10. Again, this was not a break down, this was part of the testing procedures.Regarding the staff saying it might open, what would you rather them say? "Yes it will open" and it doesn't after you wait there for hours, or "No it will not open" then you go home early and find it did infact open later in the day. Please think about these sort of things before criticizing staff.
  11. This was not a problem, it was a testing procedure.
  12. Yes, but the whole point is that we didn't pay the £26 for entry.. thats why we are not given a free £26 ticket...
  13. Staff should have informed you upon exiting the park, the would have been a five minute queue to the left upon exiting where you could have either recieved your free Saw priority pass or complimentary ticket.
  14. For the 5th time... The park does plan to open Saw for tomorrow. If anybody asks the same question again I request a warn level on them.
  15. Un - Confirmed yet, the park are still working on it and are attempting to have it operational tomorrow.
  16. Unfortunately, yes this would have been the case. Rush and Colossus where opened instead for other people at the park today. They done their best to get the ride open but it was not possible today.
  17. Standard Technical Difficulties, you will not be able to find out any exact reason. The park plan to have the ride open for tomorrow.
  18. There was going to be one on an Alton Towers fansite, however I could only assume this was scrapped as the ride was unavailable today.
  19. They are working as hard as they can and I wouldn't say that it is 100% certainty that it will be unavailable for the weekend just yet.
  20. Revenue Protection Officers, some of them. Along with some community support who all feel that they have more power than they actually do. However, there are some friendly ones out there.
  21. Some people have already rode Saw, however I agree with Kabz that the BBC news report seemed a little odd and I don't think the people in that video had infact rode it. The news report did not at all give a feel for the main theme of the ride and the fact that it was based on Horror. It would have been nice for Mike Valis to stress that alot of money was spent on the themeing, maybe to show a little more what the ride is about. Once again the park promotes the ride elements rather than the theming, and I can only guess thats the reason why we do not see many types like saw at the park, which do have a high budget for the themeing.
  22. Shall be attending the meet, with Marc on the Saturday. Time depending, I am unsure as to whether or not I will be able to go to Nandos afterwards.Edit: I see, you put me on the list anyway lol.
