If a piece of music is designed for a specific ride, in a specific park, then it is meant for that park, but may be used in other parks. End of.

  7. Fantastic, but it's a matter of opinion. Slammer seems to be the most "Marmitey" ride at Thorpe Park along with X:/.

Those queue-times seem quite long, but when comparing them with those from Thorpe Park, there is such a large difference.

They use two swings during all of the holidays, and busier days. All of the off-peak days would only require one swing operation.
  14. Paul replied to Perks's topic in General Discussion
Yes, most of the time. They only run the ride on one swing when the park is quiet, and they only need one. It's the same principal as running a coaster on one train.
  15. I have never ridden it personally, but from reading previous encounters, I could guess that it is crammed, hot, full of chavs and generally unpleasant. But it's better to ask people who have been there and lived through it .

Thanks. So I suppose the "Thrill Rides" at Chessington these days don't have very long queues, because most people who want a thrill go to Thorpe Park. Is that right?

I've never ridden Vampire. It is worth me going to Chessington to ride it? Does it compare to any coasters at Thorpe?

I don't have a pet technically, but we as a family board for the Guide Dogs For The Blind. Basically, we look after guide dogs during the last stage of their training, and have each one for around 3-4 months. It's great, but sad to see each one go. We currently have our 9th dog, and have been helping out for around 4 years.
