2011: Ranger county area closed for new area and attractions in 2012.Loggers leap starting outdoor section has had plantation and small tree’s added along with rusty saw machines and blades to add to the scenery.In the middle outdoor section a cut down tree which has fallen over the ride has holes which leaks out water onto the riders as they pass underneath.There is little other theming as I think the ride is ok as it and there is a nice feeling of Canada because of the tree’s and lakes and scenic views.New promotional campaign and slogan.“Thorpe Park are returning to there routes again to create the new nightmare for 2012.”Red claw slashed on a black back ground and dinosaur roaring noises are played along with green routes overgrowing fossilised bones.There’s a bright orange flash and a dinosaur roar along with the red slash across the black screen afterwards.“Thorpe Park brings the apocalypse, in 2012.”2012: The new area opens Fossil Forest.The whole area has been rethemed to a prehistoric forest with cavemen and dinosaurs.Monkeys banana boat ride, themed around the prehistoric primates and cavemen and features figurines aligned to show the evolution of primate, apes to man.Ceratops Carousel the carousel rethemed around the Ceratops species of dinosaur.Vengeance- Is a haunted house style ride themed around the period of the cavemen and the dinosaurs and how they battle one another along with battling you, the end of the ride is based around the extinction events and links to Mayan Prophecy. The ride features animatronics and special effects along with drops and interacts with an attraction based in the centre and is outside. The cars are themed around fossilised earth with the Red slashes on.Description:The ride travels around through forest and cave scenes where you are attacked by cavemen who attack you and make you jump along with the dangerous dinosaurs through the breath taking scenery, animatronics and sounds the ride should have most riders in fear. Before the end you face the T-Rex and then the end of the ride is based around the extinction of the dinosaurs with the volcano eruption and at the end of the ride you pass through a T-REX mouth and red doors as though dead.Abyss- A Mac splash battle themed around the marine life of the prehistoric period in the centre of Vengeance and can interact with vengeance if the participant aims at them.2013: The hotel opens.The Entrance to the park is also updated.A boat service links the hotel to the Theme Park so that guests can arrive an hour early and also to provide transport from the hotel to the park.2014: New show replacing Pirates 4D called Betrode.“A tale of treachery, lust, lies and villainy.” The story centres around the main character a young girl of the chief of the tribe of the island who is Betrode to a strong man of the tribe however one night when they go hunting she is captured by foreigners and taken away to lead the men to the crystal caverns and she takes them there and starts to have feeling for a sweet young man as they travel through the island encountering several dangers to reach the caverns where the tribe ambush the men and a brawl ensues as the young girls new love becomes injured and she quickly rushes him out of the caverns and tends to him as her Betrode comes to take her away and the two men fight when the young girl comes up from behind and lunges a spear through her Betrode heart as the chief and tribe see, she realises she must become banished and carries her lover through the forest to the ship where she tends to him as they set sail, however the tribe follow in pursuit and a storm ensures with high tides as the tribe come aboard the ship and have come to take them for execution however the young girl breaks the steering wheel and they take the tribes ship and sail away into the clearing sunset sky.The time board is replaced with a Helpful hut centre with leaflets and staff to help you enjoy and make the most of your day out at Thorpe Park.2015: Work begins on the new land for the 2016 season with a new ride coming.The park release a new slogan for there new area.“War is coming to Thorpe Park, in 2016”.There are splashing and bubbling noises on a dark blue background when there are laser sounds and the screen turns red.“The invasion has begun at Thorpe Park, coming next year.”Vortex is moved into storage for the new area.2016: Thorpe Park receives the world’s first B&M prototype roller coaster in there newly created area along with two flat rides Vortex (moved) and an evolution. The area is called Imperial Laguna and is themed around an aquatic alien colony preparing for war in the lagoon.B&M prototype roller coaster: RequiemThe roller coaster reaches 200 ft and features partially over the lake along with twisting and turning etc through scenery such as pieces of large coral reef structures dotted around.The station is themed around the spaceship which crash landed on the island and the ride then travels past a couple of watery scenes where the aliens are controlling the ship, firing lasers and reaching up out of the water and holographic effects.Vortex - Vortex moved into spaceship station building using a laser light show and holographic effects.Orbit- An evolution themed around a spaceship orbiting the alien’s planet which is outdoors.2017: Rumba Rapids is rethemed and renamed and updated after 30 years service to the park.The new ride is called Fever River RapidsThe new ride is themed around travelling down the tempestuous river of the tropical island and the ride now features seatbelts.The station hut is themed around a small volcano and as you exit the station you face and area with jets spraying water from the sides everywhere and then you travel around the corner where you see a barrel overhead filling with water which creeks and then the water explodes out all over the riders.The indoor section has been themed back into a cavern and the inside still features the waterfall sides however has now been themed to a crystallised cavern with crystallized light effects which also features sprinklers and the scene shows large crystals with heads on pikes where outsiders have come to steal the crystals and have been beheaded.Then outside there is a leaky water system above head and then when you come to the visible large section the hut has been rethemed to run down with a tribal family indoors and out cooking and such the shower effect has been replaced by a small volcano which erupts with jets to soak the riders.The area where Vortex was situated is refurbished into an outdoor picnic rest area with scenic garden views.2018: Detonator is removed to be replaced by an Intamin Gyro drop tower reaching 200ft next year. 2019: Cyclone- An intamin drop tower reaching 200ft which is themed around a cyclone hitting the island with the theming around showing this with broken debris and pieces of a boat around.

Its ok I've done it before aswell you have all these great ideas buzzing around in your head and your just dying to express them so you just create a topic and express yourself and let others express themselves.

Thats what I was wondering alot of people did say that the worlds first element was something to do with the track and I thought might be that althought that would be quite a let down if it where, so I think it will be like what you said.It's like funderworld, I don't know how many others have been there but they are a travelling theme park and they have a roller coaster which part of the track high up wobles alot and the lights shake like there going to fall on top of you in the queue its actually quite scary.

On that clip its looks as thought the track is shaking! is like the rides at funderworld, is that supposed to happen, that certianly would be thrilling you'd think the ride is collpasing :S

Sorry to sound like nagging but I have already a topic exactly like this except its called Your Own Theme Park in the off topic section.

But to me it just seems lame, I know there spending lots of money but if your going to retheme the area then at least do it properly to me it seems like oh we can't think up anything else so just amke it look run down and stick some vines on it, I don't see the relevance to a tire in what is supposed to be a cursed cryptic dark forest area.The curse being unleashed out into the area is an okish idea I guess but it's like doing something half heartedly, I'm trying to think of ways to describe my point....it's like thinking oh my hallway looks a bit boring but I can't really be bothered to do anything about it so I'll paint one half one colour and leave the other half as it is, if you get what I mean, there leaving what was there and slightly changing it and to me it doesn't look very good I mean who wants a green and purple hallway (thats the way my hallway would have been if my parents wanted to change the colours of my hallway but only could be bothered to paint half of it).

I think they could do more theming with rita, rather than just make a the original theming (the tire) look dusty and old and adding in vines over it, what relevance does a tire have to dark forest theme with wraiths and the ancient burial ground site and the crypt like station?

2010: Saw Alive opens.Planning application is accepted for the new area.2011: Thorpe park begins there new campaign to promote the introduction to the new area of the park with an advert.Black background with a circuit board being shown by a blue light anf the camera follows the blue light as it then travels to the source, a vial of something?It then flashes the screen returns to being black."The future is dark at thorpe park... coming 2012..."A teaser trailer is also released.Sirens are heard with red flashing on a black ground and the broken vial with it's contents spilled."The end of world will come to thorpe park in 2012, the end is nigh."2012: The new area opens District 12.The area is based around a futuristic base where a company has robots to do all of it's manufacturing for them anbd they are working to create new products that enhance a persons life span when the product infact causes the person to crave blood for immortality (like a zombie).The robots are programmed to protect and preserve human life however they have calculated that the human race will all become infected so they have decided too exterminate the human race.X: No way out.2A new backwards in the dark roller coaster is opened on the island and this time features a loop.The roller coaster is themed around the facility in which the product was being created and how the robots have decided to exterminate the remianing human race to prserve life as it where.There is a pre show video which explains the ride in the que lines.Scene 1The trains exit the station as large red sirens are played and then you pass through a hologrpahic robotic computer face that evily laughs at you and then past two robots which fire at you.Scene 2You then pass walls on either side which are tinted red with shaddow hands banging against them and then you hear the computer say " Insinerator switched on".The surroundings turn red and smoke is sprayed at them.Scene 3You then pass through a holographic image of a infected man's face and then pass the infected man who is reaching out at you. with another person being eaten in the background.Scene 4You go over a vertical loop and this is performed over a robot which head follows the train.Scene 5You then perform a zero g roll over infected people reaching up.Scene 6There's a bright flash of blue and a robot appears to fire at you and the computer says " human targets eliminated, and the train returns to the station.Viroid- An orbitor themed around a malfunctioning robot which has been infected with a virus.Probe- Vortex moved into a building themed where the ride is based around the computer testing human subjetcs with flashing light effects and sounds.X no way out closes this year for the new improved model.2013: The pyramid is painted to look like a real pyrmaid and fit in with the lost city theme for a new ride.The hotel also opens this year.2014: Caliber opens in the pyramid.The new ride is a form of haunted house ghost train style ride themed around the crypt of the lost city which holds all of it's legendary treasures along with it's deceased owners and not willing to give up without a fight...2015: Detonator is removed to make way for a new attraction next year.2016: The height limit can now be exceeded and an intamin drop tower replaces detonator.

(Latin for Serene Lake)The area is themed around an ancient roman civilization.Vortex is moved into a temple like building on the island where it becomes a dark ride and features a light show inside, it is rethemed to the white and red Roman colours but keeps its original name.Judicium- A Intamin mega lite roller coaster themed around the judgement of being sent to hell.The ride station is at the back of the Vortex temple and is within the same building.The ride starts of in a station themed around the entrance of a temple, you then exit the station and pass the scene of a bruning skull laughing at you and a hammer is heard slamming and a voice calls out " you will burn in hell for all eternity! there is then evil laughter and thunerous sounds as you several chained begging corpses and chained woman grovelling at the feet of Hades as he points his sword at you and you then exit to a lift hill and climb up to 110ft and then drops down over the lake, much of the ride features over the lake with several inversions and then returns to the station where you face Hades again looking evil with a three headed dog by his side and says " the hounds of hell shall feast on your flesh for all eternity as everything turns black and you return to the station.2013: Ranger county is rethemed to Jungle Lagoon when new ride Mac spash battle Croc Rocks opens.The monkeys are replaced with new models and the carosel is rethemed to feature zebras instead of horses as well as lions and hippo's.The area recieves a general upheaval to make it stand out more.The hotel also opens this year.2014: The seven maze will not be returning as the arena is being demolished along with detonator to make way for a new attraction.2015: A haunted house ride opens and is acclaimed as part of the Calyspo quay area and to compensate for the loss of the seven maze it will become interactive during fright nights.The ride is based around a cavern where a long forgotten curse returns to haunt the island and no one will be safe from, Occult Cavern.The haunted house style ride is themed around a long forgotten demonic cult society that where thought to be long gone, however they have returned and they want blood to sacrifice!2016: This year there is a break after the haunted house ride and construction begins on an intamin drop tower ride in Serena Lacus.2017: Potent- An intamin drop tower starting of in a building themed to a roman bath house.2018: Rumba rapids is closed for refurbishment.2019: Rumba Rapids Reopens as Rumble River Rapids.The ride has been rethemed to fit in with a tempestous river.The indoor sections has been rethemed to a cavern featuring sprinklers and a new scene which is based around black magic with a woman trying to perform a curse.The ride station has been rethemed to a dead tree and as you are travelling along before the cavern it features two interactive features such as a row of three skeletons on spikes which spit out water at you and a water jet section from the sides.On the other side of the cavern the ride features a water fall and then the shower has been turned back on now as the ride boats have a higher capacity and features seat belts.2020: The park announces plans for a new roller coaster this year and so takes a break.

Your ideas sound very good I like the idea of a mac splash battle in the ranger county area very much :huh:But I would love to see the area rethemed since the rangers are old and outdated and they are not really used anymore, but with the rides remaining the same just sort of animaly jungle themed area.

I hope I can get to alton at some point and ride it, though I am hoping to try chessington for the first time this year :huh:I went to alton a few years back and I didn't enjoy it much, but that was more to do with the company that I kept so hopefully I can returnm with nicer friends and experience the ride, the idea of a drop that looks much bigger than it is sounds interesting, or holographic effects.

Not being funny but I think that a coaster dubbed as the "worlds first psycho coaster" would be more suited to thorpe park, I mean we don't know what it's going to be like on the inside and the extent of the theming but if it's going to be that thrilling it would be more suited to thorpe surely?I mean I know that alton does have to accomodate for thrill seekers aswell but they mainly target families who stay in the hotel.

I think that as has been said alot thorpe has had alot of growth and has had alot of new rides these past ten years.If I'm honest some of them aren't as great as they one where or could be I think that instead of keep adding in all these new rides and forgetting about the old they should start trying to work out the kinks from the old rides more. I'm not saying don't add any new rides and focus on the old ones, what I'm saying is that I think they should add new rides in occasionaly and focus on there old rides either by retheming or replacing.I would like to see something done with:Rumba Rapids- It has the potential to be a really great rapids if it where only to recieve some much needed attention I.e a retheme with new updated or fixed effects or an extension where they add new effects.X- I would preferably see this ride removed and replaced with something else but it could just be a retheme with new effects to make it better or an upgraded version.Loggers leap- I think that loggers leap is a nice little ride but it could with them paying some more attention to it and giving it some more theming or effects.Also when they started adding in rides and creating new areas in the early 2000's it seemed as thought the park was going to pay much more attention to themed areas however they just seemed to disintergrate and become forgotten I'd love to see the park paying more attention to the different theming of areas and make them more clear and stand out with little things, put the themed areas on the map.Ranger county- I think this area should either be rethemed or removed from the park, afterall it's not there target audience anymore however they do need rides for thrill seeker families so I'd like to see some attention to paid to the area like with a retheme and a nice replacement ride for MHFS (there where rumours of a small tug boat ride? :S) I'd like to see something like a splash battle installed there to give the park a bit of fun for the thrill seekers and there families.Of course we all still want to see roller coasters every three years as planned however I wouldn't mind if they added in some different big attractions such as a haunted house or ghost train ride that is very thrilling, a good indoor dakr ride which is something that the park really lacks and the planned hotel sounds very nice and if they are getting a hotel hopefully the park will become much better and able to compete world wide.I'm not going to do it as a plan because I doubt these will happen because the park will already have there own plans of what they want to do. This is just my thoughts on what they should do to make the park more succesful.

When I meant several I meant two possibly three tops as que eaters, I know what you mean there are so many flats at thorpe park I would like to see it get some different type of attractions but I doubt it will thought I could be wrong since they are addding this permanent maze, maybe they will try adding other types of attractions apart from flat rides and roller coasters etc that they have a lot of.I really do hope that the park try and put more emphasis on the themed areas they have, if they do they could make the park incredibly great.

If your reffering to the fact they are the same height that is because I was trying to be realistic and doubted they would build higher than stealth.They are different for several reason:Nightmare is over waterNightmare features inversions.Nightmare has a different theme and vibe.Similarties:Same heightBoth use LIM launch systemsBoth have tracks which turn whiteI decided to go for a LIM launch coaster as it was rumoured that the park where planning to add a new one and that a future coaster would exceed the hieght limit like stealth and so I decided to base my roller coaster on those rumours however is it was up to me I would go for a different coaster.Nocturna Suppresio- (Nightmare in latin which I feel in latin gives it more of a darker vibe.)A B&M Hyper Coaster reaching 215ft and featuring 5 inversions all over water.The track and supports for the ride are a bright red whilst the trains are purple and murky green and the station is themed to an abandoned boat house.They start of climbing the lift hill to reach 215ft on the island and then it makes a turn in a U shape still on the island as you drop down 215 ft over the water and then perform a bunny hop and then after the track tilts left as you are then hit byt water jets and then turns right to tilt right and are sprayed by water jets on the right.You then perform a cobra roll over the water and travel along briefly to climb up to 112ft and then make u turn and descend and then finished of descending into a downward helix, you then travel along briefly before performing an air time hill and turning right and climbing up to 70ft and then dropping down again into a vertical loop over water and travel along breify before the track tilts right and sprays riders with jets and then on the left side also and then returns to the station where you are greeted by a large spinning water balde mill above your head pouring down tons of water and then returns to the station after this breif scene.

Nightmare BayA new area which would be placed on the plot of land behind stealth.An area themed around a hellish town where the town has become desolate but when you search deeper you discover the terrible truth of the town’s dark past and where everyone has gone.Area theme- The area is based around a dark deserted ghost town that holds a lot of mysteries as to why it has become what it is today. The buildings are themed to an old style town with dark browns, blacks, reds or greens.Features- The area would feature old style themed buildings as mentioned which could house, shops, restaurants, arcade, toilets and even rides.The area would feature a small board walk stile area over the lake in-between the two areas divided with seats and leading to activities etc.The area would also feature several oak trees and willow trees and other plantations which would fit the theme along with scenery to continue the theme such as skeletons of persons and animals placed around and general theming of an old style town such as water troughs, water pumps.In the middle of the town there would be a large water fountain with four angels standing on top one facing left, the other right, one forward and one back and they dribble water from there mouths however every so often they squirt water at passer by through small jets.Rides and attractions:Horror House- A haunted house style ride which would use up three of the small buildings of the town.The ride is based around the events of which unfolded in the town to make it become the way it has today.The first building is mainly used for queuing however it features the station and the two first scenes, the station is well themed and to start to ride of you drop down to the first floor of the building.Scene1-The first scene depicts how a young girl and man fall in love and how a jealous wife watches and gets her revenge by accusing the girl of being a witch.Scene2- The girl is then shown being chained down with bricks and thrown into the water as the jealous with watches with glee and the husband tries to stop it, but the girl curses the town that she shall return and seek her revenge upon the town which has condemned her and she is shown drowning. You then pass through a hole in the wall into the second building.Scene3- A pair of deathly hands are shown suddenly reaching out of the water along with her scary face slightly lit under water, you then pass a group of people drinking water and choking and dying with a large copy of the girl twiddling her fingers over the towns people laughing manically.Scene4- You then briefly pass a young girl huddled in the corner of a room when she turns to reveal a decaying face and screams and you then start climbing up a little way passing paintings of demonic faces and water pouring down the walls and you then stop to pass a skeleton rattling against a cage and a crow pecking at a coffin and the door burst open and a decaying body falls out at you, you then turn the corner.Scene5- You then face the woman standing at the end of the hallway face down when she brings up her face with and evil grin, thunderous sounds are played as she then points at you and either side of you large walls with spikes on are closing in on you as you climb upwards as well as a head dropping down slightly above you and a spider also comes down and water dribbles from it’s mouth as a spider then comes down above it and grabs it with its legs to take it away again and you then come closer to the woman and then you turn the corner.Scene6- The woman is then shown nailing shut a coffin with the woman inside screaming and trying to get out shaking the coffin and you as you continue your way along the woman is then shown stabbing repeatedly stabbing the executioner with blood spurting out and then you burst out of wooden doors above the town dropping down.Scene7- You then enter the third house through thick wooden doors and slowly make your way up around a scene in the middle showing skeletons dancing just like in the old wicked witches haunt scene with the woman dancing with the man in the middle and a large chandelier shaking on the ceiling with a skeleton rocking on it you then exit through wooden doors to perform a small drop over the town and then climb again back into the building where you come to face a scene of Pirates Revenge- A ghostly pirate ship ride.Turbulent Waters- A huss top spin themed around the dark waters of the town.The two flat rides would be great as que eaters.Nocturna Suppresio- (Nightmare in latin which I feel in latin gives it more of a darker vibe.A LIM luanched roller coaster reaching the same hieght as stealth with a bright red colour track, the trains would be a murky green colour along with purple.Reaches 205ft, the track's layout is mainly over water and features 2 helix's, vertical loop, corck screw, cobra roll and a banked curve turn.

I amm really mad now because I managed to fix my game before the computer stopped working and I had spent alot of time and effort making my dream park and now I find that whilst my dads computer has been in for repair he blames my game for his stupid computer not working when it wasn't that and what does he do?He has the technician person delete my stufff!REALLY MAD NOW!

I am currently working on making the park I described in rct3 and hopefully once finished posting videos of the park and the rides onto youtube.

Thanks for your help but I realised what the porblem was, I tried to download some custom scenery of the internet and it didn't work, but now my computer doesn't work so I have to wait till I get my computer back to go on it again, though I had fixed it before the computer stopped working.Does anyone have any helpful hints with custom scenery or anything like that?I was trying to build a dark building that was dark even in daytime and I heard that the only way you could do that without changing it to night was to use a darkwall custom scenery set is that true?

I just tried it again and it still won't work, basically what happens is that I click on the park to load and it starts loading the features and things and then the screen just goes black and it comes up with some message about sending an error report and when I click on send the message I have to restart my computer because it freezes :S

I'm not sure whats wrong but I've had RCT3 for around a month and I've been creating this park but just now when it was loading after it said it had finished loading the park the screen went black and the computer wouldn't work can anyone help me?
