  1. It's been years since I've been on it , but it's just such an amazing ride, and I agree with Paul it's one of my favourites. :PBrilliant ride length, stunning theming and a Huge capacity it just has everything . On this ride IMO you actually feel like your on a Runaway Mine Train and your physically transported into another world the only way Disney know how
  2. This weeks winner is....*Drum Roll* TPDanWell done TPDan :huh:This week was a bit confusing with the confusing 2 challenges etc and this week is just going to be back to Normal.Thank you to everyone who entered and voted. :PThe challenge I have chosen for this week, with help from Paul , is To get a picture of Thorpe Park at night/ in the dark Good Luck to everyone and closing time will be the same as usual, next Sunday
  3. No problem ,I hope you have a brilliant time , I have whenever I've been there

    Rush

Are the seats on Rush the same ones as when it opened? Or have they ever been completely replaced/ repainted ?
  5. Well every thing's in Spanish so it's a bit hard to understand :PBut I think the jist I got is that you have defeated everything else and now you have to defeat the minotaur :)I may be completely off the button though
  6. Well to be honest I doubt you'll be doing much queing in the daytime anyway :huh:It's never very busy even in the height of summer, and I've heard it's not doing very well at all financially so it must be getting even quieter. Oh there's also a good rapids if I remember correctly, as well as an SLC, and one of those Intamin Zacspin coasters. As well as this shooting ride, sort of like Duel, but when you get to the end , if you scored high enough , you are treated to a special ending
  7. Need more votes everyone
  8. Yea I've been there a few times, and I'm going in a few weeks :huh:A few tips.Check what time ride close is, and what I usually do is get the evening ticket which is cheaper, and go until 10, it's a lot quieter and cooler. Magnus Colossus is extremely bumpy and vibrates alot so prepare yourself The Log flume is awesome ( Catarats del Nilo)If you ever went on the legendary Boneshaker at Alton Towers, there's one of them There is an Intamin Drop Tower which is awesome As well as a brilliant big splash boat ride.Overall I think Terra Mitica is a well themed park, with a decent selection of rides
  9. I would love to go on the likes of El Toro , Balder, Boulder Dash and The Voyage.Too me they all look stunning , and with the lack of wooden coaster in this country , I would love to try them. :huh:Aswell as the obvious, X2, Millenium Force, H:RRR ( should be riding that next year ) etc
  10. Definately :huh:It's up there with even many of the ones I've been on in America!
  11. I love the waterpark :huh:Master Blaster is awesome
  12. I know so many people who find Colossus rough. But I've been riding it for years and not once had a rough ride anywhere I've sat.It is in my opinion though an absolutely amazing ride in the front row, Better than any at Thorpe and only behind Nemesis in the UK. :huh:I think it's a top 10 ride if you sit anywhere but easily a top 5 ride at the front.
  13. This weeks challenge has closed and it's now time for all of you to get voting :)Voting will close at 6 as usual Next weeks challenge will also be announced then and f you have any ideas for challenges don't hesitate to contact me
  14. It looks sensational and I'm really hoping Alton Towers' SW6 will be a similar ride
  15. Just a couple of hours left for you to get entries in for this weeks challenge. ( 1 is the closing time for this week )I would just like to apologise for not being here this week and with the 2 challenges, I am hoping those things are the reason for the few entries this week I am running out of ideas for challenges though :PThanks very much to all who have entered and hopefully we'll still get a good amount of votes
  16. Ah thanks very much, but why was the old style of loading removed and surely this new style just causes a scramble for the back rows?Edit: Thinking about it , it's the same as The Blade's loading, and that works so I don't really see what I was talking about , thanks anyway

    Your Thorpe Park

I love your idea's about Rush, especially the SRQ, But, if you look at reviews for Topple Towers, you will find that they are better to look at than to ride and are quite boring. Also, IMO , I don't see the appeal for a floorless coaster whatsoever. I am guessing most of you haven't ridden one of them and I can see why you would want one , but really unless your in the front row and stare down the whole ride, it's just a B&M version of Colossus. The same with Stand-ups, Looking at reviews for them , you can see the majority of them aren't great and that a much better addition could be made. Also, I think Depth Charge's time is up and has been for a few years now.
  18. I wouldn't have thought that sort of loading thing would work on a swinging ship? Why was it changed?Has anyone got a picture of it?

    Your Thorpe Park

So you basically just want to make Thorpe Park a smaller version of Alton Towers? :PAs has been pointed out in the post before yours , it would be impossible for Thorpe Park to get a ride like Oblivion, let alone bigger.
  20. Is it true this is the highest swinging ship in the UK ?I've seen pictures of it and whilst it definatley swings miles higher than, The Blade, there's this double swinging ship at Wicksteed Park and, to be honest, at the back, you get near Rush amount of air from what I remember.
  21. Hey Guys, just got back from being away a while. We Need more entries
  22. Oh Wicked thanks for your entry I was beginning to think I had chosen 2 REALLY unpopular challenges.
  23. Both for this week , both will end next Sunday
