Agreed ^^ Even on the busiest days I've never seen it with a queue, and that's with it's loading issues.Personally would like a Magic Carpet on that space again

:PIt is still the most popular ride in the park and is my opinion a phenomenal family coaster with a quite low height restriction for what is actually an extremely fun ride. It certainly doesn't need removing although quite a bit of TLC is definitely overdue. Also, it may be just be but there really isn't a big difference in experience in the first 3 rows and then the further back you go the smoother/ less jolty it gets so can't understand your comment on that.

Actually the ride has loading trouble where not all of the pods can be used, the ride needs to be balanced and therefore only 6 (I think?) out of 18 can be used usually.Not that the ride gets the queue's for it to need more, even if it would be nice for it to load as it should.

Because if they did that, everyone would queue for the back seat.I "think" the loading bays just broke, but like has been said it'd really help the ride if they were brought back.

^ Couldn't disagree more, even on mild days it has one of the biggest queue's in the park.Whilst some areas of it do look tired, I still think it's a good ride with a great theme.

^ Compared to Thorpe it definitely gives you the "experience", but for now at least it still can't be compared to Disney...When Alton starts doing parades everyday, and theming every ride consistently from entrance to exit "then" it may be a little more comparable.

This year, IMO, the park has really been over-selling fastrack and on most occasions express pass queue's have been pretty big *or* they have been letting way to many express pass queue peeps meaning the main queue moves stupidly slowly.

A ride which doesn't loop at all like a ride which inverts 10 times? Hmm sounds similar to me.I'm sure you meant about the tracks being similar but that's like saying Air, Nemesis and Oblivion all are too similar.

I "think" only Kobra is still down, but even that's not definite.

Good TR and glad to hear they have got there acts together :DBUT, a world class park? No matter how good a day you had, IMO it is huge leaps from being anywhere near a world class park.

My mistake And AS queue was pretty large, was almost to the food hut opposite Skyway queue entrance.

Yeah, definitely, especially those on Vampire. In particular when at the merge point as it was just continuous moans from guests from both queue's.

Express Pass queue's were unbelieveable...And then made worse as many who went to guest services got EP's... so yeah at one point 5 out of the 6 rides on the pass were closed :s

Vampire at 150 minute's at one point.

Chessington had an unusually bad day today :DThe park's normally got incredible reliability but at one point, Tomb, Falls, Fury, Bubble and Kobra were all down at the same time... Kobra, Tomb and Falls failed to re-open.However fantastic customer service, everyone visiting got a free ticket for this year.
