A friend of mine went to Thorpe Park yesterday for the first time in years, met him on the Friday before for a catch up. "I love the log flume" he said. I had to disappoint him. "Oh. Is that SAW Alive maze open? My other half will love that" Ummm.... "Oh. He's looking forward to trying out Derren Brown's Ghost Train though" Errr.... I did point out that on the plus side, Stealth had just reopened so it could've been worse I think the last time he went, he had a rollback on Stealth so shows how long ago it must've been!

Yes would have no hesitation in paying out for Brave It Alone again - well worth the money. And I normally hate add-on pay attractions Similarly, I'm a fan of Containment too!

I think Big Top got a lot of unnecessary flak - I quite enjoyed it last year - the Brave It Alone was certainly worth the extra money!

It's actually 21 years old this year - so it's basically dead anyway. Place your bets for removal date considering Ripsaw was disposed of this year and was 2 years younger than Ramases.

Whatever happens - I think it's safe to say DBGT needs to be running "as intended" and to full capacity 2 months from now or the social media and guest relations team will be kept very busy.

Before someone says "people only go on social media to complain" - I don't think that's true with theme park rides (or "experiences") - if something is awesome, they'll tag people saying "OMG we gotta ride dis again" or use it to say they've been on it and was good just for point-scoring to show they've done something new to their m8s (Social media is shallow innit).

Those queues probably aren't helped by the breakdowns though to be fair
