  1. It's great . Should be better than last year since they're adding more thrill rides this year. Here's the official website for Power Tower 2 (the one being used at Winter Wonderland) http://www.powertower2.de/ Just relised if you click photos (Fotos) it immediately starts playing the Terminator theme . The ride looks great but seems to have taken Tower of Terror's theme. Can't wait to ride this thing EIGHTEEN DAYS TO GO .
  2. Winter WonderLand's awesome. Went last year. Yes they do have a great roller coaster . The drops are quite itense and stomach churning (though the ride is quite rough but don't let that put you off after all It is a Zierer family coaster). They're adding a Maurer Sohe Power Tower this year http://www.maurer-rides.com/power/ along with a Zierer Black hole roller coaster (heard that on TTF). The place has a great atmosphere durig the night. The whole place is light up. The rIdes that I've bee on there are great (I've yet to try out the Haunted Masion, simulators and the 60m Observation wheel). They have london's biggest outdoor ice rink there aswell. Jake C. It's an awesome event. Don't listen to whoever said that it's nothing special. It won awards in the past and has been shortlisted for one last year. Anyway can't wait to go back this year .
  3. Since I'm arachnophobic and spent a remainder of the ride shooting with my eyes shut I scored 100 - 1000 . Anyway I like both Tomb Blaser and Duel. Though Duel I find slightly scarier.
  4. Isn't SAW meant to be upgraded for Fright Nights. Would anyone say that it is scarier than it is at the moment which isn't very scary at all really just a very fun ride. I haven't been to any Fright Nights yet but hopefully will be going next weeekend.

I wouldn't class all B&M's average. Especially the B&M's that I've been on in the past. I would prefer to see a B&M at Thorpe rather than an Intamin. Thorpe only have one B&M and have 2 Intamin coasters along with Rumba Rapids. I would like to see more B&M's at Thorpe Park, a floorless will be good. I would also like to see a Maurer Sohne Sky Loop coaster, like Abismo in Park De Attracciones Madrid. We haven't got any of those yet. The closest thing England has to one of those is G force at Drayton Manor. I would very much like to see those on the MTDP after it has been released. That is they still want to be secretive .

It is pretty obvious I don't like the fact that thorpe have started to get all secretive. They must have a very good reason to tease their fans like this. They could be making another world's first without having other parks finding out and copy them but instead make their ride more exciting. Remember Flamingoland opening Mumbo Jumbo, only a few months after SAW. They must have seen Thorpe's plans for SAW The ride and in an attempt to compete with Thorpe Park they built a ride with an even steeper drop. So Thorpe don't want that to happen this time and so they decide to make their plans secretive especially for their next major coasters.

Thanks for that . I look forward to seeing those plans after being released.

For certain ? I haven't heard that there will be coaster for certain any where else. Just have to wait until plans are released.

That's one valid reason why it is highly unlikely. Stealth was only approved as the track can blend in to the sky and isn't very loud. But a B&M hyper (like most B&M's do) produces a very high level of noise and I can understand why the locals would object to it after visiting Mirabilandia and listening to Katun's roar (not a hyper) which can be heard from the other side of the park.

It does indeed. I keep hearing that Thorpe will build an over 200 ft B&M hyper coaster over the lake. Sounds quite unlikely but I heard on another forum that Thorpe Park will build a massive over 200 ft coaster every 5-10 years.

I'm pretty sure because he is telling the truth as he is friendly with a member of staff who has quite a high position there so he could have been talking to him. I will talk to that member of staff and ask him what is being planned over the next few years and hopefully get some answers and put it on youtube and my site aswell as discuss it in this forum that is if he lets me of course. The office where the blue prints are in is under neath Port Atlantis near the lockers. The plans may have been moved now after my friend saw them. Hopefully they should be released to the public soon.I think that the coaster over the lake will be a B&M mini hyper coaster like Hollywood Dream at Universal Studios Japan and the ride linked to the hotel a monorail or boat ride linking the hotel to the park. I am however certain that X is leaving as it is not very thrilling and most of thorpe's guests seem to find it rather boring. If it were to be replaced I would like to see a new improved version of X with inversions and an accelaration (not a launch due to lack of space).

I'm new to this forum. I can confirm that Thorpe do have an MTDP as my friend visited the park and saw the blue prints up in the office when he went to make a complaint. He said that he isn't allowed to tell what they are planning as thorpe want it kept secret at the moment. But he did say that they will build a roller coaster over the lake and that there will be a ride linked to the hotel and that they are removing one of their coasters. I hope that X; No way out is leaving. It is kind of stupid that they have the plans up in the office if they want them to be kept secret.
