I actually don't mind the PMBO getting bashed around is part of the fun, although Wild Mouse win's that award.

Yeah I don't have any trouble with the ride at the moment I have always liked it but a lot of people seem to have problems with it. PMBO is often having parts of the ride retracked and has work done to it to keep it running well and has just had 2 new trains built for it. I think it might be time for some retracking work on at least a few small sections of the ride, I was having a close look on Tuesday and there where a few sections of track that looked poorly aligned.

The rough parts of the ride can be retracked and reprofiled, and new trains installed. That would probably solve a lot of the problems some people have (as long as its done properly). The Missile was terrible at American Adventure with the Arrow train but when it was moved it had a different train installed and is much better.

I went on Colossus a few days ago. There was a group of school kids on are train who cried when they got off and where in agony all complaining about headbaning. I was fine though and loved the ride but I always try and sit as far forward as possible as it can be a bit bumpy but its not bad, anyone who rode the Missile at American Adventure will know what real headbaning is. They could do with new trains for the ride as the Intamin ones are not very well designed. My left leg never fits properly and get jammed in but once the ride starts I forget about it and enjoy. There are also parts of the ride that need retracking but I doubt that would happen anytime soon. My favourite ride is the Ultimate so my opinion might be voided by that.

Hi I've been thinking about getting a Thorpe Park or Merlin pass as I'am often traveling near the area with work and have a few hours to kill by myself, so I could pop in there for a bit. I was just wondering how the passes work? are you given a card with a barcode on it that you scan on the way in or do you have to get free tickets when you turn up? Also how does the car parking work with the annual pass do you get any sort of discount? Thanks

The Saw films are rubbish simple as lol. only joking but they are not very good films imo each to there own I suppose.

I just never bother to ride the back not because its rough but for some reason I always get the front and like it there so I just always queue for it as I know I get a good ride, I never had a very roguh ride on Colossus. I always ride with my hands up but my right hand got caught by a bush on the last inline twist and it was cut other than that I like this ride never had a problem with it.

I only ever got to ride it maybe once before today as it was always broken when I went, and I really enjoyed it and its so long since I rode it before I cant really remember.

I never liked the new trains I loved the orginal Vampire with the old trains shame Vekoma didnt just do a recon. They used to fly to the ground and clip the top of the grass they now got those big pits so people dont bash there legs.

Rush is a really good ride both swings seemed fine today.

To be honest some of the best rides in the uk are the old one's at Blackpool. Grand National and the retrained Rollercoaster are great classic wooden coasters, Wild Mouse is mental and Revolution is probably one of the most intense loopers in the country and of course they still have the tallest ride in the uk but they are lacking a modern multi looper I really hope they do get a new Mack coaster, would be great as I normally go to blackpool every 1-2 years.

Saw was running very bumpy and jolty today it didnt hurt or anything like that but it was bumping around a lot and was very jolty on the turns it was really smooth last time I rode it at thend of 2009, its doesnt look like it will age well at all. Colossus was much smoother today.

Had a great ride on Colossus today in the 2nd car was really smooth I wouldnt ride at the back though, I smashed my hand into a bush on the last in line twist.
