Top Thrill DragsterFortnightly or Bimonthly?- Universal Studios Hollywood
it's still the same ride ... just not as random! The only gonner is the huge water finale, instead it's got another train which crashes into you.Really 'Disaster' is worth it. But it's still Earthquake , just I assume with a heck of alot of life pumped back into it.- Universal Studios Hollywood
It won't let me edit above: Revenge of the Mummy*- Universal Studios Hollywood
After visiting today, I thought that a topic about this impressive park wouldn't go a miss! This park is mainly Simulators and walk through attractions - but still a park not to be missed!I'll spark some rides to talk about...The Mummy Returns - Amazing ride! You're on these crate kind of trains which embark on a journey into the depths of the tomb, where Imhotep wants to capture your souls to gain imortality. The special effects in here are extremely extensive and Universal have really gone the 'extra mile' to make this a ride and a half! You have several transfer tracks within where you will go backwards. There's also turntables and a launch hill! I'm trying not to spoil this ride for first time riders. But it has a few suprises within too!DISASTER - This ride used to be the Earthquake ride where you go on the subway train and everything seems to go wrong in the earthquake. But since last time I visited (2001) it has become Disaster Movie Studios, where you are all filmed and a whole movie trailer is based on your group (of about 50) but it manages to fit you all in. This really was my favourite ride here, and everyone should go on it.Oh yes, the food outlets here are great! They have the Meal Deal here too - where you can eat all day! Which I know would intrest some members on here- Sea World
I went not yesterday... the day before and thoroughly enjoyed the whole park - despite the woman at the ticket gates being most offensive to my mother and myself. But I'll leave that at that. But I went for the Halloween Spooktacular! It was surprisingly good! They had free Trick or Treat stalls , Went on Kraken loads in the dark with no queue. And looked at Manta lots and lots. I was a bit dissapointed with Wild Arctic to be honest. I found it really depressing seeing all those animals in captivity and that polar bear with barely no space ... at all! And to top it all off you get a helicopter ride into the artic... and apparently walk straight out again! I mean honestly; what is that all about!?But yes, SeaWorld isn't really about the rides - Shamu; Believe was pretty darn good although Shamu had a tantrum half way through so they had to close it short with a smaller one for a quite dissapointing "finale". I also thoroughly enjoyed Journey to Atlantis, and surprisingly I didn't get wet at all by the main drop! It was the incy wincy one round the corner that got me soaked! I just thank Busch Gardens for my trusty Poncho. It's bright yellow ... just gotta love it!I can't wait to see how Manta turns out! My expectations are high!- This Or That
- Dudley Do Right's Ripsaw Falls
I surprisingly didn't get wet on this the other day. Thanks to my trusty Busch Gardens Poncho But after the final drop with the water guns I got damn soaked!I'm going to Islands of Adventure tomorow, I'll get some more pictures and add them to this topic. I love the constant rules inside the ride. This really is my favourite water ride... joint with Splash Mountain and Journey to Atlantis, especially with the water coastery bit inside of it.- Dudley Do Right's Ripsaw Falls
Recently rode this Log Flume and a half , and thought it was brilliant! Themed in every nook and cranny, and the drops within are amazing. Especially the final drop with the water coaster segment in it?But yes, favourite water ride out of the UK. Made this topic after searching for the relevant topic, so discuss!- This Or That
Batwing looks coolGwazi Lion or Gwazi Tiger?- Legoland
I went to Legoland yesterday, and really enjoyed it!The Viking River Splash is actually amazing! I love every bit of it! You've got the free Battle Galleon like guns to shoot people on the ride, and it's just so fast paced and really well themed! Favourite ride to be honest. The Longboat Invader was on a super long program and span really fast, and it gave me a headache! Ah well!Pirate falls I am too in love with, the noise which you get as boats go over the drop is seriously addictive, it's like a drone which gets higher pitched! I couldn't get enough of it. The Jungle coaster 'SAVE A SEAT' service is really effective - and after 2pm it becomes a regular queue! It's really organised and you go straight to on-load! The cars look, feel, sound and are terrible now. It's terrible, the whole ride feels as if it's falling apart - there's too many trim brakes, way too many! The roof container thing feels like it's breaking away. But before it had the cover it was so much better, it's just lost all dignity with those covers now. The rest of the park was really cute. Especially miniland! And Duplo land. All in all I love this park. So cute, so sweet, just awesome!EDIT: You need to turn your head to the right to see that picture properly, sorry!- Saw- Construction Thread

If you mean the explosion scene, then yeah I remember!T'was the scary part I seem to remember, didn't like it much when I was younger - the huge toothy grin and the music made it kind of traumatic for me.Isn't the explosion music now used on the lift hill?- This Or That

Stewie Griffin is ftw.Setting off from Dragon's Fury's station building....Facing backwards or forwards?- Saw- Construction Thread
Haha, that'd be cool. I wouldn't mind that to be honest. Come to think of it, a Tomb Blaster style themed train would be cool. Except instead of a lantern and spade on the back, a saw and stuff.Whether that'd work or not is a different story.Going by the plans, the layout for the queueline doesn't look that bad to be honest, it's near the water so that'd keep me occupied. I'm also a fan of the entrance to the main ride area, I mean like between the Immelman Loop and the ride entrance. As you go underneith the immelman. That should be good, seeing a eurofighter car come hurtling towards you only to rocket up the Immelman loop. Oh I am excited.- Rant
Haha, I personally like some types of modern art. There's one piece of artwork with a grand piano being smashed into a wall. It's weirdly artistic. But yeah, a grey square is a bit pathetic to be honest.I also hate Stagecoach Buses, especially when they splash you when you're walking home- This Or That
