  2. If you promise not to rape me I live in Guildford! Trust me the original Vampire was amazing, well it was for me, I remember getting a hand stamp when we were queueing because I was just over the right height to go on it, and I remember having to stand on my seat to reach my safety restraint! Brighton sounds lovely, my mum grew up there :o *Tells keith my family history*

  7. I searched for any topics on Picsolve, and failed to find any:I have just returned from THORPE PARK, and I'm not sure if you're aware of this but, Picsolve have now raised their prices as follows:Single Photo (Frame, Keyring, Magnet): £7.00Photo Pass (5 photos): £25.00 [until further notice, Annual Pass discount remains at £18.00, however this will be shortly adjusted]And also, there's a new option for photos: £30.00 for a digital photo keyring - it has 5 photos which can be digitally viewed. Sounds cool, but the price is just a bit hefty.Saw - the ride DVDs; It seems to me, from today, that throughout the day the DVDs appear to work from around 12 o'clock onwards and that only certain trains save the footage.Discuss?

Chess and Draughts are different Will. And Lostmalheureusement or desafortunadamente
  12. Having an 'average joe' voice over for serious announcements may still be a bit lame - but could it not possibly be similar to the voice from Nemesis' break-downs? Even if it is a "normal" voice, a bit of character wouldn't go a miss. I can't wait 'till opening now! It's come round so quickly ,
  13. I think it's really good, THORPE PARK have every right to plaster Saw everywhere - they're obviously proud of their ride. And I'm hoping/asuming they have good reason to be! It's looking like a very attractive ride, well done Thorpe (y).
  14. I would like Thorpe Park to stop calling their searches at the entrance 'Random searches' - when they're clearly not random.
  15. I enjoyed Calglary Stampede while it lasted, despite its camp colour scheme, it was pretty 'nifty'. Samurai seems just a bit out of place.
  16. ;)Went to Thorpe today, there's been a few changes to the site: "The digger's pretending to be Samurai":Extractor fans with 'frames', Saw bridge(s) one contructed, and one in the process of being construced:

    Rush

I was at the park today, the restraint system appears to have been altered - the actual piece of metal which compresses to hold you in is now black. I think it looks really good! What do you think?
  18. I see it! It looks suspiciously like an E-Stop button! The only other thing I consider that box to be, would be a television screen in the inside so while waiting you can see your video or something. I doubt it thought, seeing as most television screens these days are flatscreen.
  19. Been playing detective with all these photos, and when I looked at the photos from www.thorpeparkguide.com, there appears to be a lighter coloured box which is attached to the blades on the headchopper.See here: Courtesy of Thorpe Park GuideBy luck, could this be a motor of some sort to spin the blades?Just a guess, but I may be onto something. :(EDIT: Also, I forgot to mention that the box also has doors - perhaps for maintenance of the motor? I don't know. You can see it better here: Courtesy of Thorpe Park Guide
  20. I get really annoyed when people feel it's neccessary for more than once exclamation mark. The exclamation mark marks an exclamation hence it's prescence. By putting two, three, four or however many people put it really peeves me. Also, with the question mark, it marks a question - it's pointless putitng more than one. And what's even more annoying is the fact that an English teacher - who seriously is terrible, constantly uses more than one exclamation marks on everything she does. What's more, is the fact that she preaches creationism within lessons. I've not had a good day.
