Opening Times
September openings are random considering how dead the park is at that time... Hence why they've never bothered...Hmmmmmm...

Colossus
I may as well throw my two cents into this as well...Colossus has aged horribly in addition to it's terrible trains with lack of leg-room, making it stupidly rough and quite often gives me a headache after I've ridden it...Also I've had incredibly horrid experiences in the queue-line due to it's poor throughput, let alone the state the ride is in (Medusa Pit and the Lift-Hill)...Colossus 90% of the time just doesn't have a queue that I would be willing to queue for to feel ill afterwards quite frankly for the reasons above...

The Parks Are Closed....
Please tell me I'm not the ONLY one on here who finds this post even the slightest bit ironic?Onto the actual topic, I spend my time doing work and life and stuff like that... When you think about it the time isn't THAT long really... We're already in the last few weeks of closed season, I think I can survive without having to go anywhere near a park for that duration...

The Parks Are Closed....
^That's excessively sad...I'm sorry, but I couldn't think of anything worse in the middle of the closed season by going to a closed park for no reason just to sit there and look at it... Waste of petrol, waste of time, waste of life...

I managed to juggle working at Chessie throughout my entire two years of College and still got Triple Distinction...Now Chris does make a valid point that not everyone can get help from parents, I am lucky in that I can (I have enough chicken and fish to last several weeks from CostCo) get help from them, but if I couldn't, then my years at Chessie would be 10x more useful than they were...It's all down to personal choice and life... But I'm certainly one to support any 15 year old actively looking for a job... Minimum wage at that age is fab (even though Chessie does not give out minimum wage, near enough 6 quid an hour last time I checked)...Again, if you can get the balance right, go straight for it... If need be hours at Chessie are easy to alter if you make friends with your TL

^You see, because of my birthday being when it is, I didn't have to worry about my GCSEs... Since I'd done them before I was 15...So I had A-Levels to contend with instead... So my points still stand... I even took several days off in Easter just to revise, so it's all a case of getting the balance you need...

Why? I started working when I was in 6th form... I applied at the start of the first season I was 16 (I.e. 2007, since my birthday is August)... If you can balance the work from school and job then you can easily do both... I know I did...

^For me, working at Chessie for 3 years helped improve a lot of stuff about my life, and also improved my money situation...Some people do really want to work at theme parks and their industry, mainly because of an interest in it... Working at Chessie has certainly... opened my eyes towards the industry in general and how it's run... There's certainly something to be learned there...And of course applying for jobs atm is a bloody nightmare... I doubt I could get a part-time job right now if I ran around Stafford with CVs... Why not plump for somewhere that will take people on willingly without that much... Not sure on the word really, but hey, long story short Josh, lay off him and let him apply if he bloody well wants to...

You could just wait till Summer... Saves hassle and allows a bit more free time on school related times...Or ring them... I'm assuming you emailed them but you're more likely to get an proper answer if you call them and ask to be put through to a HR person...

That makes no sense... I applied at their cut-off age (16) and there was no trouble... Unless you're trying to explain that you're currently 15 and due to turn 16 soon hence the unsureness about it all...

Merlin Annual Pass Offer
Wasn't this the thing that leaked the parking payment news? And no, because my AP runs out in October, and also I will probably end up having it upgraded to Premium at some point... (Especially if that is a birthday present)...

THE SWARM: Speculation & Theories
Alternatively, it won't have any form of ingenious backstory like A-Kid said as Mr Wardley believes that normal guests don't give a crap about backstory? It will probably be some form of dark theme where we have to attempt to escape something bad happening but naturally it happens and we're caught in it, then manage to escape... Although... That WANTS!
