Update on the Texas Giant fatality from last year, 6 flag and Gerst have settled with the family of Esparza. Looks like we won't hear anything further of the details of how this actually came to happen. So that's alright then. That they have both settled without either publicly admitting responsability suggests to me both companies were at least partly at fault, but I guess we'll never know.

The foot print of the new ride building is almost exactly the same as the total footprint of the X building, which includes the ride area, the queueline and the old queue line now used as a maze.

Yes, I'm sure it has quicker loading times due to people faffing with bags in nets than a ride where people don't have any bags with them at all. Once again you've made your point badly then, because what you wrote bears no resemblance to the explanation you just gave. Don't get arsey at people who can't decipher whatever hidden meaning it is you have buried in your rant, make a clear point instead! The Universal system is great, and surely pays for itself pretty quickly when you've not got to pay two or three people all day every day to staff the bag drop? Merlins dedication to bag drops is quite baffling really, considering how cost adverse they are and how much of a revenue stream paid lockers can be.

I'm not sure it would fit though, that ball of screens would have to be pretty massive! I don't think they are going to / can excavate what would be required underneath.

Have you been to centre parcs? It's not like that. If it was going to be like a centre parcs that would be great, especially if it included a worthwhile pool complex rather than splash, but it isn't. That pic shows how crammed in these will be compared to the feeling of solitude you get in a Centre Parcs villa. Coupled with the lack of amenities being developed alongside the accommodation, I don't really get what they are trying to achieve. It seems to fall somewhere between a hotel and a CP resort, and I can see it ending up with the advantages of neither.

And if they are claiming that the Red Arrows simulator at The Science Museum actually is!

Musically it is awful. Sounds like it's been made over a pre-programmed casio keyboard demo track from about 1995, dull and soulless. Some of the vocals are pretty stunning though, especially Guy Garvey. He should have song the whole thing. He should sing everything. The message seems a bit shoehorned in too, can't put my finger on why it grates so much but we're still singing about feeding when the problem is Ebola. It's a right old mish mash and stops making any sense somewhere along. "Well tonight we're reaching out and touching you", but if you don't mind I'll be wearing gloves.
