TP already have a beyond verticle drop and a launch coaster so a Maverick coaster wouldn't really be likely which is a shame because Maverick in my opinion looks to be one of the best coasters in the world. *braces for hate*Also AT have Rita so I don't know, doesn't look like its gonna happen, will be very interesting to see what they come up with though, fingers crossed for B&M, not that I mind IntaminPlus, I think a blitz the size of Maverick might fit very nicely on that site... It's the only type of Intamin I'd actually like to see at either Thorpe or Alton in the future.

*thanI know, people always ask why queue an hour for Stealth when it only lasts 10 seconds. I never know what to say when people ask this. I suppose its just a raelly intense 10 secsSome rides do more in 10 seconds then others do in ten minutes.

From that video, the coaster lasted less than a minute, bit of a waste tbh

I got tickets to the launch for last night and so queued for 4 and a half hours. When we got towards the front, they announced the cutoffpoint which was luckily 14 people behind us, so they guaranteed to a group of about 40 of us that we'd get in. They walked us forward away from the outraged queuers behind us hurling abuse at these poor members of staff from Applause Store. It turned out that due to too many unexpected guests such as 'friends' and 'family' of the people going in the house, they could not fit us in even after promising us. The man from Applause store then expressed his apologies and offered us free priority tickets to the live final which we all cheered about. Result? I think so

In fairness, the train is different, the height is different and the layout is completely different with interesting an unique elements. I still stand by my point though that this is a confusing decision for the park to make

SUCH a good design for a hyper coaster, so much better than Behomoth's. Those shallow hills give me so much hope. A little short don't you think though? Also, I know its on the other side of the park but won't this raelly undermine the other B&M hyper coaster?

Maybe they're getting rid of the beach to widen the path between it and Flying Fish because this was highlighted earlier as a problem in the Swarm topic. My guess is a flat ride for 2013 to replace the beach and to modernise Neptune's Kingdom

Pyros on any of the crashed vehicles would be awsome, or even smoke machines, but I think flames would create an atmosphere suggesting that the crashes were recent and would therefore be more effective.On the topic of pyro, if they could commit to maintaining the effect, maybe flames coming from an engine on the wing or something like that.

That's good to hear, maybe the problem is fixed then :)When Swarm opens, I'm gonna ride on the right (preferably at the front too) because you get the height on the 'inverted drop' and all the near misses when your hugging the water surface. I can imagine that this ride will be fairly re-rideable too because you'll get a different ride experience depending on where you sit. The edge seats will be rougher and the inner seats will be smoother (judging from Furius Baco), The front will be fun to see where you're going and the back will have some intense dragI haven't this year but I have been a fair few times in the past with it only on 1 train operation.

Colossus is actually my favourite coaster at the park, I just love the bunny hop after the loop and the quad heartline roll is fun too. And Intamin is my joint favourite manufacturer next to B&M

It's just nice to see pics tbh it makes you feel as if the construction is actually preogressing, it's not that people don't/didn't believe you.

I'm yet to see any pics at all of the track. People keep refering to it but I can't find any pics, would anyone care to post one here or give a link?

I'm absolutely with you on this Junkie, even just some netting over the top and an orange life-saver ring will improve the top of the lifthill immensely and it will be very cheap to do too

Do you reckon it's gonna have 2 trains like all the other coasters at the park? I imagine some have an extra in the sheds but I mean 2 in opperation. Also that queue line looks so confusing lol

Hmm, I still can't agree with that... Very, very few parks build coasters year after year. I think we're very lucky with having TP so close because they build one every 3 years along with other smaller rides in between.Nemesis Inferno a year after Colossus is coaster after coaster. Three years is a long time in the coaster world..

Is one every 3 years NOT coatser after coaster then?It will be a while before Thorpe throw coaster after coaster at the park again.

The promo video could well be a movie trailer which is very exciting, although, it tells you very little about the actual ride itself, but I guess it's aimed at fan boys who don't need the context filled in. All very exciting nonetheless! I wanna go to the park just to sit by Stealth all day and watch every second of the marketing to gain more knowledge of the new project, ahhhh!

It was then time for Stampida which is great fun racing the other train
Next up is the amazing themed Tutuki Splash where we had to keep our bags under our shirts in order to keep them dry which wasn't pleasant and drained some of te enjoyment out of the ride but hey, here a few pics of it along with a couple of river rapids ones.

After the more lexical version of my trip report on the previous page, I shall endeavor to create a more visually pleasing one.So we headed for Furius Baco first
Then over to China for Dragon Khan
That indeed is me lol
Then we ventured over to the Mine Train which was somewhat tame after our first two rides but fun all the same despite the numerous trim brakes
Then this beast was looming upon us... 300ft of terrifiedness : I still can't believe I actually went on it, sit-down AND stand-up sides

I know what it means but what exactly does IP stand for?Why does anyone think its an IP? It says no where on the site it is so id assume it isnt... !
