    Your Thorpe Park

I don't really have too many ides so I didn't bother doing 10 years but anyway, here goes:2012: The Swarm finished and a lot of work is carried out to make sure it runs well and is fully finished etc.2013: Lots of effects/sound systems recovered or improved. No large investments because of The Swarm but a lot of cleaning up and general aesthetic improvements to the park over the closed season.2014: A new flat ride in The Swarm area to be used as a backing ride.2015: Work on the 2015 roller coaster starts, it's to be placed in the area behind the Port Atlantis dome and a considerable amount of money is invested into Fright Nights. 2016: X:\ No Way out has a massive re theme (loud music and maybe bright flashing lights and lasers) The ride drops it's computer virus theme, even though it's non existent anyway, and becomes more of a 'roller coaster rave' to blend in well with the target audience of the park and make it a more significant ride that will hopefully eat up some of the queues reducing stress for larger rides.2017: 2 flat rides added to the area of the 2015 roller coaster, working towards making it a larger area of the park.2018: Food outlet near the 2015 ride and the removal of Storm Surge and a picnic/grass area added to its place. Similar to the one at Alton in the middle of the park, just smaller.2019: Removal of Neptune's Kingdom and work starts for a large investment in it's place. The park is 2 years over due for a roller coaster so a very well themed ride that will tie in with the 2015 coasters are to make it the largest area of the park. 2020: Removal of a few of flat rides for more modern and reliable flats... Zodiac and Quantum. And ground work started on the water Thorpe own in order for further development.

    Dubstep Creator

http://remixer.clubcreate.com/v2/dubstep/launch.htmlThis site is quite good but it's nothing amazing. You can't import audio but there is a large variety of bass sfx and everything else you need to create a decent dubstep mix. I've been looking for ages for a decent dubstep creator and without having to pay large prices for commercial software, this is about the best I could find. I know it's not what you asked for but it's about the best I could find and I thought it may be worth suggesting.... You could try getting a professional programme through keygen or uTorrent though? It takes time to search for the proper things but it's worth it in the end.
  4. The turret does look pretty fake but it's still a pretty exciting regardless of it being a piece of theming or part of a forthcoming publicity stunt. If they do use it for theming it would be a nice surprise that wasn't mentioned in the plans and we could hope to see other bits of theming arrive on park soon. If not, then it should be interesting to see what they do with the tank in the sense of advertising/publicity between now and next year!
  5. So lets get one thing straight here, is this a real tank or not. Decommissioned or not? Regardless of that, I would imagine it's going to stay at Thorpe because if the white writing on the side of the picture above. Forgive me if I'm wrong but surely who ever has given Thorpe the tank wouldn't let do that if they're not going to keep it?
  6. At the end of the day... Thorpe Park have put the shark in the KFC in Amity Cove, the steam in the Nemesis Inferno tunnel, the waterfall face by the Colossus cobra roll... The only thing these all have in common is that they are scenery/theming that have been put there to enhance the riders experience. They don't improve business in anyways, but they have been put there to make things look better. Storm Surge may not be the best looking ride in the world but a themed frame will definatly be a step in the right direction, so who's to say the petition wont do anything?
  7. Wow... Should be interesting to see what they do in the park with this
  8. Jack- I wish to sign and/or join this petition. And Kevin does have a very negative view towards the situation. Although the idea could be seen as a bit far fetched it's not going to happen if we don't do anything about it? The more people the better and hopefully we can get something good out of this
  9. Where about can I sign this petition. The 2 photowizz links only lead to the pictures so could anybody direct me to a URL or post a link so I can sign as well please?
  10. There probably would be some sort of tunnel holding the wing up. It would be pretty cool if there was some steam effects around it as well that you pass through to add to the extreme first drop. The 'near misses' that the plans show will really ad to the experience too. The church tower, the passing through the inclined loop, the banked turn in the water and passing under the plane wing will really give this ride something more on top of how extreme it could be. Even though this is a short ride, if it lives up to the plans I think it could possibly be Thorpe's best
  11. I know this is a bit late, but I've just arrived back from holiday and there's something I noticed about the name. In my opinion it's not the best name they could think of for the ride and it doesn't compare to the likes of 'Colossus' or 'Stealth', but I think it will catch on and seeing the train is supposed to be the alien, you could imagine it representing a swarm swooping between ruins and debris. Also, the word 'war' is in the middle of 'swarm' so in the video clip on the Swarm Mini site, the phrase 'war is coming' may also link in with the name Swarm as if the swarm is coming over to Thorpe. Unlikely but it did come to mind straight away when I saw the video and I thought it would be worth suggesting And I would imagine they would get a real plane shelling for scenery, I landed at Gatwick about 2 hours ago and I saw about 3 old planes in the grass, I thought they were from WW2 and were there for a heritage or historic related reason but surely a legit plane shell wouldn't be too hard to acquire?
  12. A girl in my year said the Same thing happened to her about 2 weeks ago. It must happen quite regularly if this is the case :/
  13. Ahh okay, well luckily I'm not that big yet, but thanks anyways
  14. Hi everyone, I'm aware of how height restrictions work and I know you need to be 1.4 for extreme thrills etc, but is there a point where you are too tall to get on certain rides? I remember reading somewhere that Stealth has a height limit of 1.9 (and I'm rapidly aproaching that) but I wasn't too sure if this was true... Thanks in advance, and hopefully there isn't a point where I will be too tall to go on certain rides and Thorpe
  15. Iv'e not visited Chessington in about 5 years so I've not actually been to wild Asia, hence the fact I voted for the Saw Island but both of them are fantastically themed, however wild Asia does tie in well with Chessingtons' theme of adventure so I suppose, if I'd actually visited it, I'd have voted for it instead.
  16. Does anybody know how busy it's going to be tomorrow? Me and a friend are going and we figured because its half term it will be quite busy, but judging from previous days this week does anybody know actually how busy it will be?
  17. It should be interesting to see how they do that... I just want some scenery that looks really good, IMO the scenery at Thorpe is not too bad but LC12 will hopefully raise the standards...
  18. The twitter account seems genuine, and so does all the advertising on park. The Les Coogan Facebook account just doesn't seem real to me though. It's still very interesting however

    X

What does the ':\' in X:\ No Way Out stand for? It's always something thats made me wonder. Also what do people on these forums call it X:\ WTF I'm guessing it stands for what WTF usually does?
  20. Sorry I meant the facebook account. He wrote 'watch out for the silver lining in the sky' on his profile and I commenting saying its probably to do with the track and I've been asked to spread the word
  21. Oh right, I expect it's to do with this thing on the 1st August... But I'm really starting to believe Les Coogan is a hoax now...
  22. Earlier I hope. Is this at the park or somewhere else. I just want the construction to start now though. Something to keep track of
  23. Very good point, this is all starting to come together now... Hopefully there will be something especially good on August 1st....Oh and just quickly, whats the difference between Les Coogan and LC Millitant forgive me if they're the same person but I've added Les Coogan on facebook but I hear LC Millitant on the forums all the time?
  24. Hopefully LC12 will have a proper story....All these codes interlinking with other coasters, Les Coogan telling all these stories, and the St. Christopher's sign on the plan of the bridge.I'm just hoping it doesn't turn out like the story line of Th13teen....
  25. Where Les Coogan was talking about temperatures reaching sky high and plans being stolen mabey he was talking about the Nemesis Inferno volcano? That probably explains why he was warning about natural disasters at the park? Also the original plans for Nemesis are at Alton Towers so mabey Nemesis Inferno relates to the stolen plans? This was pointed out on Facebook (I dont take credit for any of the ideas besides the Natural disaster warnings from Les Coogan) What do you all think about it though?
