Where can I find the planning applications for Thorpe Park? Whenever I search on the Runnymede website it only comes up with one from 2012.

Corfe Castle near Bournemouth, Dorset

You can get it posted to you but I don't know how many days it takes to do that. Buying online is cheaper normally and you can collect it the day you go but you will want to get there early as the queue can get quite big to collect them.

Clearly said by someone who's never been on Dodgems without lap bars...
...I hope.
I have been on ones without them, I think the lab bars are annoying. Looks like these are better lap bars though because they won't have a bar down the middle like at Chessington.

It's a shame the dodgems have lab bars, I was hoping they wouldn't have them.

This could be some big competition for Merlin when it opens. Hopefully it will make Merlin up their game a little and we will see some improvements across the parks.

It looks a bit boring I think compared to Alton Tower's and Chessington's

Not a fan of the new website

There were queues to get out all the time before the barriers were put in.

I think that has been on there for a while. I remember someone saying about it before.

At the moment with the Atlantis theme it fits in well with the beach area, I think they should just refresh the Atlantis theme not change it.

They were working when I went though on the 15th of April.

If your a visitor to the park is it possible to see that?
-
What enclosure were they in?

I was there Wednesday as well and the queues to get out were taking forever. They were taking so long because there is one lane that goes straight through the barriers and the other lanes have to join that lane but none of the cars were letting them get through. This is something that really needs to be sorted out because it's ridiculous having to wait so long to get out when you have been in queues for most of the day.

Even if they were paid to put the prizes there, why would they want to advertise a park that has nothing to do with them?

Any pictures of it?

What's a rolling loading station?

My favourite ride at THORPE PARK, I wish the countdown was a bit louder so you can hear it at the top. I like it when staff leave you up there for a long time and you know when it is going to drop as it makes a hissing noise just before it does.

The only thing I saw on Saturday was a new sign where the entrance to the CrashPad was. From what I could see there was still half of the CrashPad there.

Lab bars would be a great thing to have as it would stop the head banging and I would actually ride it.

Many of my friends are also scared of the ride because it looks quite daunting. The ride experience I would say isn't as scary as it looks but it is still one of my favourite rides because of the unique experience it gives.
Slammer and Rush are the only different flat rides at the park, the others you can get at lots of places so there is nothing really special about them. I hope Slammer does manage to open again and not have the amount of problems that it has had recently.
