The Smiler
I feel that this coaster is going to be a potential coaster that could be one the best coasters in the world list. Maybe a worthy competitor to Nemesis. With those near misses at great speed, and the possible rumoured underground section with a world's first add up, for me, to become a great coaster.

Going On Saturday, I Have A Few Questions
For SAW, it isn't scary at all. Nothing to make you jump other than the shotguns as Coaster Jamie mentioned. One thing I will say, is that when you enter the building and you here a cocking sound, run as fast as you can to the stairs if you don't want a loud bang near you to make you jump. I won't tell you where the shotguns are exactly though. Makes it more interesting.

Did you see much difference where the girders in the ground are?

Closed Rides
The queue line would be horrendous. It would go up to Saw alive. Anyway, since Samurai has been taken down fully, could there be a possiblity it could be considered for relocation since it has a portable foundation. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

The Smiler
Things are going slow on the site. I thought by now, we would see some boards placed up to form the concrete walls for the station. Hopefully things will go fast next week. Thanks for the pictures stretchy.

The Smiler
I'm not sure if it's just my computer. But for some reason, the official SW7 alton towers site isn't loading for me. It shows as if somebody has tried to change something on the site. Only that it didn't load up well. http://www.altontowers.com/2013/

Do Chessington Need To Add A Rollercoaster?
I think the problem with Merlin owned parks such as alton towers, thorpe park and chessington, is the price. If they changed the price to a lower one, I feel that a lot more people will attend the parks.

The Smiler
No. Plans haven't been submitted where we are able to view the interior of the building. And I don't think Alton towers shows the interiors of their buildings, unless it requires a deep excavation such as with sub-terra.

The Smiler
I have a feeling things should start kicking off in the days to come, maybe tomorrow concerning the foundations. But does anybody who has been to alton towers in the past few days and has ridden oblivion, know how deep that hole closest to the trees is?

Size Restrictions
With regards to the thing of Colossus being painfull on the legs, that's the reason I don't ride it anymore. One piece of advice I can give you is that on Colossus try to avoid yourself being swung around to much on the long in-line twists which is that part where you keep on going upside down that looks like a long spiral. It will avoid you getting pulled muscles on your legs. But with the rest of the rides, everything should be fine. Incase try the test seats. And if for any reason he can't fit on a ride, hopefully not, tell him to breath in and suck in his belly. A little trick to fit in.

The Swarm
I just realised it's meant to look like it has been torn out of the ground and flipped over. I guess the swarm didn't get great service whoever it called. Anyway, its great to see some theming being added after some months of the coasters opening. But I do agree that the final turn should have some theming there. When the island will be in use for the 2015 coaster, in no doubt will plenty of theming be seen.

First Time!
I would say to go on Saw first, Nemesis inferno second then make your way round to the rest as you choose. You can go on the swarm at any part of the day since the queues aren't long at all for it. One thing I have to warn you about though, is that if you are going to ride Colossus, be prepared for some pain. And also, welcome to the forums.

The Crash Pad
I know this might sound abit strange. But I was thinking that maybe Merlin know that this wouldn't do fine unless there was a true reason for staying overnight. So I thought that since the MTDP is up until 2016 which states the addition of new attractions, maybe thorpe will add flat rides between those years (2013, 2014 and maybe 2016). And of course the 2015 coaster as well. So for when those attractions open and there are long queues or it may breakdown, then people can stay overnight to ride the new additions the next day. That's just my theory.

Do Chessington Need To Add A Rollercoaster?
From my opinion, I want a ride like th13teen to be placed at chessington. Though I doubt merlin might get one from Intamin, but rather from Zierer instead. I'm hoping that if they do decide to make a freefall coaster at chessington, I hope it's made by Intamin. Also, while looking through the MACK rides booklet I have, a bobsled coaster would be good at chessington as well.

2013 Changes
One thing I forgot to mention when I went to thorpe park on the 3rd, is that while walking towards The Swarm I remember seeing some small tents to the right of the bridge near the maneque. But they are gone now. Interesting thing though is that where they were, there is a patch of grass which has been taken from the ground. So now it is a square patch of dirt. And that area is where a proposed location is for a flat ride. Could that be preparations for the 2013 attraction?

Sun Free Tickets?
Welcome to the forums. I'm not sure if I'm talking of the right one, but they are doing that 2 for 1 offer from time to time. I haven't seen many in the papers though. You can buy a frijj drink and there should be some on there.
