  1. Yaaayyyy! They finally listened to me. Looks much better now.
  2. Not sure whether I like or don't like the new map design. Definitely not the worst design though. Treetop hoppers is an interesting name though.
  3. I didn't book an AP day ticket to the park. I don't regret it. Feel sorry all those pass holders waiting 2 hours for Scorpion.

Nemesis doesn't need a reverse gimmick. All it needs is 21- coats of paint for the station and ride area (freshen up this amazing ride).

  8. TBH I only said it looks like Shambhala due to the colour of the track and supports [and landscape which look similar]. Yeah this is definitely more twisty, bendy and more ground hugging and looks to have more forceful moments over airtime. Still looks a great ride though.
  9. Seriously I'm super confused now, I simply put the asumption that X would be closed because of it. If it isn't because of the dark ride then there's something up meaning the ride can't operate. you just can't freaking win!
  10. I'm absolutely certain that X's absence is to do with the construction of the big 2016 dark ride. Wonder what's up with Rush & Detty?
  11. Looks very B&Mesque more than intamin, but I could be very wrong.

Fastrack for I'm a Celeb- guess they've got to fund that dark ride

  15. There are sayings the Falls retheme has been put off for the foreseeable future. I'm not surprised tbh, wouldn't surprise me if this has been affected by the tomb blaster fine.
  16. That's a shame we have another 5 rides closed, however there must be some very good reasons behind this. Angrybirds land must be surely having its maintenance still done and as it was open in February, needs a bit more work. The cinema also had broken water when I went too. Loggers surely is still having work done to it (hopefully the tunnel). X's closure must be something to do with the 2016 ride (unless it's getting another overhaul). Also, AP day is earlier this year compared to previous ones too.
  17. In regards to numbers, it's anyone's guess, but here's my estimation. The overall park capacity is 18,000, however it will not be this busy because they don't want it packed and four rides will be down. Removing those rides that are closed - Tidal Wave (1000 pph), Rumba (1000pph), Samurai & Slammer (1000pph) means that's already 3k taken off the limit taking it down to 15k maximum (throughputs are estimates only at this time). But then the park would still seem too busy and they wouldn't want it packed, so I expect another around 5k worth of guests will be taken off as well. I estimate they will limit it to about 10,000 pass holders a day (12,000 at the most), which isn't to say they will even receive as many as that on the day/s.

  20. I'll be creaking in as long as it's one of the last two dates.
  21. I've always used my phone when it comes to checking at events like Fright Nights & Braniac and every time staff have been absolutely fine with this way being used to scan tickets.

Atleast the online price has stayed worth while of its value and should be advised when buying tickets. Moral to the story- Don't buy on the day at Thorpe!
  24. Another fantastic meet. Well done Peaj for organising this and everyone else who made it (it wouldn't have been as exciting without you all). Highlights for me were definitely the whip, the crazy (professor drunk) spinning on the Gold Mine and generally everything. Someone give this Guy a medal!
