They could quite easily get rid of the saw-osity, so I doubt they will relicense. Then they an advertise it as a new ride.Watchdog will have fun with that
-
Wow, Wasn't expecting the teacups to be taken apart! Also, I didn't realise a woodie was planned, that makes me dislike saw even more!
-
Fireballs look more impressive, so my money's on that.
-
leviathan's pretty. I want one!

That the rumour going round.

I think they are going to have to either increase height limits, or just accept that coasters will need to be built above flats. Like inferno, but more of that.

Definitely, they just need to drain the lake out a bit, so that water level doesn't change.Speaking of which, what if there was a flood, what would happen to the park?
-
for some reason, shambhala just doesn't interest me much, I just think it seems a bit...undaunting. I mean, if you are getting a huge coaster like that, surely you want it to stand out, where as shambhala just doesn't

it could be worse, it could be made by a company that has a history of killing people on their rides
-
what about a mixture between a foam party, AND the wakeboarding show. just chuck 3 tankers of imperial leather into the lake :Dno, but seriously, how would they do a foam party, have a golf cart drive round the park spraying people?ooh, they should do that in the summer, but with water!
-
that is the problem with paving. its easier to maintain, and individual bricks can be removed, but it just doesn't fit a theme, its too good.
-
It is tall for paultons, it must be inside ther height limit. Definitely not expected though
-
why don't they just reroute the drain? I'm presuming they don't send the toilet sewage into the lake???
-
end of the world/disaster/something gone wrong seems to be a popular theme at the moment, doesn't it?
-
they could still do a typical thorpe park advertising thing"new for [insert year], Colossus. more colourful than ever, and now in capitals. OH YEAH!"
-
I think the problerm with the water pit was that the land Colossus was on was sinking, so muddy water was coming up through it, but they put the saw alive area in to stop that, so thats easy enough.it definitely could do with a cleanup, and I've been fairly impressed by maintenance from 2011, so perhaps they might repaint it soon.lets hold out for 2013 season.
-
I definitely think this is perhaps the most exciting new coaster design for years.
-
So there's a new picture of the swarm with tidal waves fireball Thing in scaffolding. Could this mean the return of the effect???
-
they should put the mannequin on the far left in the station, with a sign over it saying: "do you want to lose your limbs? then keep your arms and legs in!"actually looking at the picture, I'm beginning to think that maybe they may have used the mannequins for real. the water dummies can't show you the whole height stuff, so its definitely possible the'yd put in one row so that they can check the leg room
-
don't think of it as hell ... think of it as purgatory!if you make it on the ride within 3 hours of standard queue, then you've reached heaven
-
ouch... thats gotta hurt.so, first they have a better themed
eyesoreattractionthing, then they use the thorpe park inversion. -
or even easier than that is to have the ride staff in costume. it gets done in many theme parks worldwide, not just disney parks, so why not at merlin ones?
-
yes, because going on a tall rollercoaster is really like risking frostbite.

Maybe they're going to use it as an advert thing, or perhaps they have other plans for it.
