Oakwood have released the details for their new arcade but are still keeping zipped on the Sleepy hollow investment.

The wood track is almost at the top of the steel structure! I think if Thorpe were to ever have a "woodie" this sort of structure would probably aid the visual impact on the area seeming as its steel and in a hybrids concerned has a very minimalist support structure (like I said for a hybrid) even if it is ugly as hell. Its the only way I could ever see Thorpe one in unless it was like 70ft or something like White Lightning at fun spot. Plus it opening for may 29th is laughable when it is the 20th today and they haven't even properly installed the lift yet...

I think if they were going to put vests on it, they'd ship it with the vests on. I love it tbh looks great with out them and woman with big boobs won't feel like they are getting choked which is a plus!

I saw that but I still think it doesn't add to the area what so ever, just stick to the original game themeing and it would looks fine as graffiti doesn't look great to me even if the pig is painting it tbh, everything else I like its just that looks a bit meh.

I was open to the Angry Birds Idea, but now they have done this... Because nothing says quality themeing like Graffiti...

I have been looking around at some reviews and, Banshee has train roulette like the Smiler. Blue is the smoothest, greenish sort of colour is Nemesis type rattle and the Purple train, from what I have read is like being on a Vekoma SLC... That doesn't sound good for a brand new B&M that has been open for only a month.

2hr detonator marathon it is then, if I go lol.

Between 6-8pm those will be the only rides open, or can I just show my pass and ride Inferno and Swarm instead?

I think Chance should have more of an opportunity to show themselves, the owners have said its the smoothest and most fun creation he has ever developed which seeing phantoms revenge, is a bit of a bold statement, plus how would we know it would develop a nasty rattle, to my knowledge, the other Morgan coasters haven't had rattles, although they are positively dull, I think its quite good, I'd rather ride that over a vekoma, S&S and Zamperla for example, it looks good, I would like to see something like this in Europe soon. Also they chose Gerstlauer 2 times and look how that panned out for them

I wouldn't mind this or something similar at thorpe, it is called Lightning Run at Kentucky Kingdom, in the US, built by Chance Morgan, it's small but very fast, very airtimey, and very twisty! Looks awesome in my opinion!

The other extreme ride if you looked was because I commented on GFK's post about putting a spinning upsidedowny version of vortex and, My point was that with detonator already in the family area it would be stupid having that in there because of vortex and because of the space and because of the fact that it was a family area so it would be silly to make it look like an extreme ride area as those would be the first 2 things you'd see there, I know there isn't an extra thrill rde going in there I was just replying to why putting that thing in there wouldn't be good for the area also you pretty much wrote what I meant any way in the quote above.

What I meant was the park already has a tonne of extreme rides and Detonator in angry birds land would make a another extreme ride in that park pointless because first and foremost that area has to be appealing to kids and having 2 massive flats in that area wouldnt make it look family friendly and would dwarf the family attractions that thorpe want you to go on.

Like the park doesn't have enough and dete being there makes it a little pointless seeming thats the "extreme thrill" in the area.

Because thats an extreme ride, but its a family area... It's stupid enough Detonator is in there...

If you saw I said my self that I found it hard to believe that it was marketed as a woodie, it is a hybrid but it originally was going to be predominantly wood the with original concept, unfortunately thats not the case, it is ugly as hell but yeah, it will be an interesting one to see what reception it gets.

Don't no me , no RMC and six flags and RCDB, cos it is classed as a woodie its hard to believe, that structure I know is steel but I'm talking and going on about topper woodies in general like outlaw run and the inpending wildfire.
