  1. Agreed. It's pretty simple to sort between rides with good/bad throughput these days though! Great Throughput: SAW - The Ride X Loggers Leap Rumba Rapids (sometimes) Not-so-great Throughput: Colossus Nemesis Inferno THE SWARM

To be fair, falling dreams are the ones that practically KILL you! I'm pretty sure whenever I've dreamt of falling from a great height, I'm literally suffocating in my own dream! ...which is why you should NEVER dream of being underwater! *remembers either swimming desperately to the surface or being gravitationally stuck to the sea floor *

    Dreams

It was a little rough going for me in Corfu in July, as from the plane journey there, I had been reading 'Thirteen' by Tom Hoyle...and after stopping at a pretty intense moment, I was presented with my next challenge - getting to sleep that night!
  4. Theme parks, dammit! Angry Birds or Cut the Rope?

    Dreams

"Do you ever dream about falling down a long, dark tunnel...or a well...or a dark bottomless pit with restricted vision?" ...well this is me some nights! But sometimes I'm awoken by my own body suddenly lurching upwards, so when I wake up, it really is as if I HAVE been falling and I've just crash landed onto my bed! I've actually heard that if you suddenly get the feeling of falling in your sleep, it's apparently your body and mind on the brink of DEATH, so you wake up as an act of your body protecting you from the worst case scenario! I've heard this rumour with my own ears...and it's a load of trash!
  6. Ahem... Tablet or iPad?
  7. Six Flags! Rita or Kanonen?
  8. Suspense! Are there plans/pictures?
  9. Agree with the comments above...but all I know is that RNR is likely to cause a complete queueing nightmare for the mazes!
  10. I can see it now! "Buy an entry ticket...and get a FREE bottle!"
  11. If there were more space in Angry Birds Land, they could possibly put an 'Angry Birds EPIC' dark ride in there!
  12. I've got a horrible feeling that Legoland are just going to start ripping out all of the good stuff that takes me back to childhood! I'll explain below: The Rat Trap - GONE - Castaway Camp now stands in its place. X-Team Challenge - CHARM GONE - renamed to Raft River Racers (which actually isn't a bad name, but still...). Pirate Falls - CHARM GONE - renamed and old sets recently ripped out (Although I DO appreciate the revamp in way of themeing) Jungle Coaster - GONE - Atlantis Submarine Voyage now stands in its place. ... LEGO City - GONE - replaced with LEGO Friends.
  13. I think the old ride system needs to be ripped out at some point and be replaced by a newer monorail model. It really isn't surprising that it's on its last legs, because the ride actually opened even before Chessington itself opened!
  14. With Studio 13, something tells me that rather than the traditional walkthrough maze, it'll be somewhat like Chessington's mazes with different sections where the entire group stops, and the actors do whatever is scripted. If so, then like Altitude with the potential outdoor section, I'd also cream my pants!

    X

Though I really do miss the name X:\No Way Out, with my idea, I would still settle with 'X:\Rewind', sticking with the rave sort of theme...
  16. Kanonen just looks like a death trap from your pictures! Helix on the other hand, as always, looks amazing!

    X

I just want to see X one of these days have double sided trains, forwards and backwards!
  18. Guess I better take the challenge and list my top 10 coasters that AREN'T just B&M! 1. SheiKra: A stupidly exhilarating coaster with TONS of G-force! Absolutely love it! 2. Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain: An absolutely brilliant coaster with stunning themeing, a great storyline...and a heart-pounding face-to-face Yeti encounter! 3. Furius Baco: Definitely a much loved coaster! Launch, inline twist, themeing, storyline, preshow...SOUNDTRACK ( ) - LOVE IT! 4. Manta: A fantastic experience with some great moments of G-force! Love the water effect and the close encounter with the waterfall also! 5. Montu: An intense coaster experience with the perfect combination of inversions, G-force and themeing! 6. The Incredible Hulk Coaster: Love the launch...and not forgetting the rest of the ride itself and the punch it packs! 7. Nemesis: Nowhere near as intense as Montu, but it's still a brilliantly themed coaster with a decent amount of G-force! But one of the things that get me most about it is its roar... 8. The Smiler: Though it isn't heavily themed, it still looks as amazing as it is riding it! Never forget my first time on it! 9. Oblivion: Though the drop itself is incredible, I still prefer the whole buildup in the queue...which all leads up to the moment you're on that precipice! 10. Air: Nowhere near as amazing as Manta, but it's still good for the experience of free-flight!
  19. Stealth isn't actually part of the same story as Tidal Wave - I think it's meant to be some sort of prelude to Tidal Wave...when it was more happy and peaceful! Storm Surge takes place AFTER the wave, seeing it's (apparently) themed around a fairground ride using the floodwater from the wave.
