Hopefully they're not finished yet and more tidying will follow.

Project WC16 - New for 2016
Extremely exciting! We can speculate infinitely over that stuff.

Zufari
Ah but the big difference is that Disney can do a pre show very well. Chessington's pre show is irrelevant, does not appeal to all ages and causes blocking hell. It was just begging to be scrapped from the day it was poorly conceived.

Ok Thorpe really need to release another ambiguous clue. We're looking at pictures of trees and plywood for goodness sake.

I take no shame in confessing I want this ride. Someone make this ride happen.

Six years seems like a lot to be robbed of to me.

Well that's a bummer they only had him a few years and giraffes should live to around 25. Poor thing.

It's no more a problem than Stealth's rollback habit.

Disabled Queuing Rules
I do actually agree to an extent. If your disability makes traditional queuing difficult then where possible an alternative method should be sought. On seriously busy days that disabled entrance can have a lot of traffic and sending every single person who falls under the category of having a disability straight through is just not logical.

Dragon Falls
Aw man. It's just, well I thought we had a few insiders here or maybe someone had talked to someone. I dunno. I just thought maybe someone had heard something that might indicate if it'll be sometime this side of the Tokyo Olympics.

Do we have any indication when the reconstructions will start? I feel like we were all just supposed to forget about it so it could never happen.

Bringing a hunting rifle to a safari park, was it a bad joke?

The Smiler Incident 02/06/2015
Basically we're just going to have to accept that this is the year that roller-coasters are demonized. It's this years bird flu and it gives the papers something to fill columns for the next few months. If someone sneezes on the teacups it'll be a headline.

It's also way cramped at the Explorer entrance. The only place for groups to meet where they're not in the way would be down the hill on the grassy knoll but it's not ideal. Poor reindeer and otters are going to see a lot less people too.

I'm really not happy about being sent to Explorer car park as a member of my group has a bad ankle and trekking up to the entrance will pretty much leave her in pain for the rest of the day.

£10 for parking is a joke! And when I go in October if they try to force me into the tarmac park at a charge of £10 there's going to be trouble.

Evidently it's not something they're too worried about?

Don't they always bump when queuing up to go into the station though? I'm pretty sure it's the same process as when the BubbleWorks boats cluster at the foot of lift-hill, it's supposed to happen and perfectly safe?

Chessington General Discussion
Just found this gem on the Chessington facebook; "Came today 13/06/2015 for a family day out and was in a collision on the safari skyway train first thing this morning. I am disgusted with what was done about this. Was given £10 in vouchers to use in the park and was told by the staff on the skyway train we're sorry and didn't realise what had happened! There was 5 of us 4 adults and a toddler on this aswell as 4 other visitors in the back carriage. Our carriage kept on going when it was meant to come to a stop and collided with the carriage in front. This ride was then still being used after this had happened. Something needs doing about this. Thanks" Don't let this one on Tuk Tuk, she'll try to bring up criminal negligence.

Today one of the local rags had a picture of Smiler on their front page with the header, Roller-coasters, Are They Safe? So much facepalm.

Bubbleworks
If I ran the place I'd at least run out and buy some garden variety oscillating sprinklers and put them in place till the ride ones are fixed. At least then people can still have their fun splashy time.

Ya'll really need to stop reading the red tops, you know by now what degree of 'journalism' you're going to get.

But other than the Smiler point of sale banners you'd never have known the area of the shop had been reallocated. It's a pretty seamless cover.
