Just gotta say, whether on topic to the current conversation or not, some of the staff I've encountered at Thorpe have been awesome. In particular, one ride operator on the Flying Fish who gave my crying Mum lots of amusing 'support' over the intercom, and even burst out singing 'Tro Lo Lo' when he fooled my girlfriend into looking for a red button to lock the restraints down. To me the only Muse album that got anywhere near flow was Origin, which remains my favourite album of all time, but live-wise, yeah, they're right on top - closely followed by Rammstein (Even if you don't know their music, just the show.. wow.)

First time I've posted in this thread.. gonna contribute quickly to the 'albums of the year' conversation - Muse, Deftones and Enter Shikari are probably my favourite albums of the year. Muse are naturally in the list, being my favourite band. Saw them in Birmingham in October, was an awesome gig, probably beat when I saw them at Wembley 2010... except Wembley 2010 had Bliss and Ruled by Secrecy. But Sunburn and Host make up for it I guess.

Maybe they'll forever take a ride down one year, re-open it the next, and then advertise it as 'back' and 'new' But yeah, I did love the railway. If they gave it a spruce up and re-did the Loggers tunnel too, it'd be fairly nice in that area. Maybe the new Logger's tunnel could have the railway going through it?

I'm not gonna get involved with the dynamics of the discussion here, but it'll be a shame if the tunnel does not return, I love seeing people's reactions to the 'surprise' drop inside. In my opinion, it really adds to the ride.
