Fright Nights 2013
If the voucher doesn't have a restriction it can be used on fright nights...Yes, this does mean you can be left out however if you get there early you won't be and the park probably won't be anywhere near full until the 2nd week of half term. My friend has a tesco voucher for this Sunday and we are getting there early just in case

Fright Nights 2013
Had a look on the live feed, looks pretty busy to me, does anyone know what the queues are roughly these evening?

Fright Nights 2013
I don't like the fact that they are using the same fences as last year and on MBV and the fact that it looks like a cattlepen queue. I know its easier to have these fences but I would much rather if there were more 'decorative fences' in a cool layout. I hope they at least decorate the fences for fright nights because they don't look very attractive...

Fright Nights 2013
Sorry, I'm visiting with my friend next Sunday and was hoping to use the Tesco Clubcard vouchers? I just wanted to check that this is ok as we don't want to end up not being able to get into the park! Will it just be like how you use them usually, scanning the print-off voucher on the turnstiles or will we have to get some extra ticket like the AP holders do?

Chessington Howl'o'ween
So do you think they purely close it to save money and effort of having it open....?

Chessington Howl'o'ween
Presuming it gets dark at 5/6ish they are probably expecting zufari to have a 1hr 30- 2 hr queue. This means that it would be dark by the time the queue had ended and they would have to put the animals away etc.- I can understand this. I think the park are just trying to save money by closing jumbos and having shorter hours which is making the guest experience worse which is bad for them...

Quote From chessington: Please note our animals need their rest and the following closing times will be in place during the Halloween period. To allow all those waiting to ride before dusk the ZUFARI: Ride into Africa entrance will close at approximately 3:30pm. The Children's Zoo will close at 5pm and Lorikeet Lagoon will close at dusk. Due to insufficient light after dusk Flying Jumbos, Safari Skyway and Canopy Capers will close when it gets too dark to operate the rides safely.

The rides will be open aswell, it was on thorpe's FB page.

The whole point is that you are meant to be able to do the coasters in the dark and with 5pm closing you can't do that.... The 7pm closing is more reasonable but I really think it should be till at least 8pm

How Busy Is It Going To Be?
You would be suprised, I went on a Wednesday in term once and nemesis and Colossus were 30 mins and that was the longest queue. However, my friend visited last Friday and there were 60 min queues for all the big ones and 90 mins for saw. Mondays and Fridays are generally the busiest day of the term time(not weekends and holidays).

Chessington seriously need to extend their hours...

Fright Nights 2013
The website doesn't make it very clear whether you can use them or not however I think that I should be able too because it has a big paragraph advertising on the thorpe section.

Fright Nights 2013
Is it possible to use tesco clubcard points/sainburys nectar points on fright nights? I heard that 241s were also not allowed but why can they be used at scarefest then? If none of the above are allowed, are you allowed to get a AP discount for fright nights- my friend doesn't want to pay £35 for a ticket! Thanks

Samurai
Can we have the return of the piano theme please Thorpe? I know it doesn't really suit samurai but the piece of music is amazing and I really enjoyed it while people were boarding. Now there is no music and I think it is boring without music! Please bring it back or bring a new tune Thorpe

How Busy Is It Going To Be?
My friend visited yesterday and there were 60-90 min queue on park . For this reason I think the preview evening is going to be busy however I am not sure and it will almost certainly be emptier than the sunday, unless the rides are doing poor operations! Would be good to see how the first couple of days of the event are though. Thanks
