Interesting - but I'm not laughing at it.

Possibly, don't let your life depend on it!
-
Perhaps it's worth another try.

Most train out of London will call at Clapham Junction, so you will be able to get a service to Staines from there. Not sure how frequent they run, and how long it takes. As for accomodation, consider the new Crash Pad if you wish, but from looking at online pictures, be advised that these are very basic accomodation units and the closest comprison size-wise is a caravan! Personally, I would stay in a Travelodge or Travel Inn close to the station you get your train to, so Staines or Ashford in this case. Hope this gives some guidance - speak to the park for more information if you still have any questions.

I think it will be mainly the Staffordshire Knot, the secret element, and the message about how it plays with your mind and tries to make you come off the ride smiling.

Oh, you've discovered it too?! Most phone contracts or PAYG have free access chucked in, although it's capped at some point. My current contract expires in July, I've had it since July 2011 and I get 500mb data a month. It's OK, and I have had to pay extra if I need another 500mb, but thankfully that's only happened a couple of times. My next contract I'm looking at offers 1000mb.

On the X page on their website it says: Minimum height: 1.4 metres To ride X at THORPE PARK you must: * be at least 1m tall Contradicting? Oh well, I don't care, I'm tall enough and go with people who are tall enough too. I rechecked the website and Facebook page, I admit I made a mistake. Yes, you heard right there peeps. Now raise that bottom lip.

I am beginning to wonder if the Mystic East is going to be rethemed to another land, and we haven't been told yet. #wonderingmindcwoa

No, if I thought that I'd say it. I have tried it. Works fine for me. But there's a time and a place for checking phones, not in the middle of a pub with your mates, or midway through a meal in a restaurant!

1.0m is rather low for a ride like this. And whoever updated the TPM Facebook page yesterday put up as 1.2m which is wrong.

Just been reading this article about The Sun starting to charge people to read online later this year. Apparently, so is the Telegraph. Hmm. I can see this being reversed no sooner as it's put in place. How many websites out there can you read the news on? Loads. Bad decision? Yes. Con? Yes. Bloody Murdoch...

That's not weird - when they get together and collaborate, the place goes down and their produce is immensely addictive. We need more like this! #combomixmusicjunkie

You're obviously very old-fashioned and behind on the times. These days you can't even get on a train or wait at a bus stop without people looking down at their smartphone, even if they're texting or browsing online. The one that gets me are the people who go to the pub with their mates, and spend a while on their smartphone, or checking it every few minutes. Very unsociable. Sometimes I intentionally go out without my phone and get asked why - simple...because I'm not gonna join the crowd and be unsociable.

With regards to the music, do we know if it's going to be disc-orientated with flashing lights etc, or do we know if it's going to be normal chart/dance music? I wonder if it will be changed every so often? They could use current chart music and and keep inline with current tunes in the charts.

Rumour has it the Angkor Wat faces are in transit on their way to Thorpe's Loggers Leap.

I would've thought most previous Easter weekends would've been rammed for the entire weekend, but this year, with this weather, who knows?!

Agree with that, but am still unsure of this height restriction. To be honest I think a lot of people are saddened by the fact it won't run backwards anymore. But the pictures of the blue-illuminated queueline released yesterday give a good hint that what's inside the actual ride could be just as good, therefore people will soon forget the previous backwards aspect and enjoy the new refreshed version - at least that's how I see it. I'm looking forward to it more than I ever have. I'm glad to see something proper has finally been done with it. Usually, I go around the park, thinking about whay ride I'll do next, and often forget X. Glad to see those manuequin's still mid-way.

When the announcement was made for this and the Billboard I really wasn't sure. To me, the theming originally put in was good enough. Being unsure soon turned to . Really like it now I've seen it and tried it. I like the additions last year of the ambulance and phonebox, really good there. Do the lights on top of the billboard light up at night, or we will know in a few months time?
-
Now you put it like that...OK. Logical way of thinking of it.
-
Bang. Power cut.
-
But what I'm saying is it's not the best. Old hat.

You'd think modern coasters would withstand the cold better.
-
No, he thinks. I know because I've worked in advertising previously.
-
^ Whatever, and there's a difference between thinking and knowing. Oh I can better it, because like I say, use the methods of advertising I mentioned. 2 million people passing through Picadilly Circus is sod all compared to other advertising modes to people across the entire country. Have you ever worked in advertising? Thought not. I have. There are better, cheaper methods of advertising and marketing that will see more capital return longterm than there! Clearly you're oblivious that the big wall of advertising is soon gonna be a thing of the past.
