School holidays and weekends passholders are allowed in at 9:15, off peak which I belive tomorrow will be classified as will be 9:45 for passholders.

I wouldnt mind being put in the mecahnics shoes, I am going to do a degree in enginerring so I think I would do better than some. Also iv been over 15 times this year and all of those trips saw them on 1 train. Most other parks can manage full trains on all rides every day of the season I dont see why thorpe cant.
-
It will be a indoor doctor who aqua trax which becomes a RMC half way round to finish by breaking the 200mph barrier. The pre show will be a top spin as well.
-
I know they got to nemesis late yesterday because of the fault with saw. I guess Swarm must have had the same problem.
-
I complain at any form of fastrack. At a point yesterday the fastrack queue moved non-stop for 15 minutes and the main queue didn't move at all. The only reason we started moving after 15 minutes is because we asked why we hadn't moved.
-
As a warning to anyone as I have experienced this one before between 15-19 and the 22-26th of september it will be very busy. Do not think it will be off peak as schools can get in for a very low price and there is a load of workshops for schools. Last year when I went and the same thing was on I managed 5 rides in the whole day as everything was 2 hours or above.

The company pay for the tickets for entrance and Thorpe park throw in a fastrack with each ticket. They advertise it as free but I guess you could see it as paid for.
-
Often Thorpe give out free fastracks to groups. As they were a very large group they gave out a very large number of fastracks. I guess you could see that as paid for but the fastracks were free to the DHL guests.
-
They all had a pack with them which they were collecting at the entrance and in that pack they had a card which had something like Merlin magic written on it which they were handing to ride hosts as a fastrack. To me it seemed as if DHL paid for the whole thing for all of them hence all the extras they were given.
-
If you go to nemesis before 10 oclock I'm willing to say that 9/10 times it will be on one train. It may be something to do with busy period engineering schedules and may not happen on weekdays/off peak but every trip I have been on this year nemesis has been on 1 train.
-
So swarm was open first thing. The ride host lied to me. Although are you sure it was on 2 trains then as normally swarm will start on 1 train until about 10:00-10:30.
-
It was certainty better than my previous trip I must say but it certainty wasn't faultless. I believe that swarm was on one train due to a problem with it hence its very late addition. The fact there were so many people in the park at closing was odd and maybe they should have extended opening. The number of fastrack was amazing, there was just a never ending supply of them.
-
I was the very last car on the first row. So I would say I was at the back of the queue. The only place it could have been longer is if you were parked on the grass.
-
Eww double post. Swarm managed to get a 90 minute queue yesterday because it was on 1 train until 12:15.
-
It was very odd yesterday at closing. Unlike normal when people start leaving early a lot of people were still in the park at closing. Colossus and saw finished the day with a 30 and 90 minute queue. Nemesis I think also had a 30 minute queue. I have never seen so many people in the car park at the time we left and it was causing a very large queue. However it only took about 20 minutes to leave so claiming an hour is exaggerating.
-
Saw did reopen in the late afternoon however it went straight to a 90 minute queue until closing.
-
Best amusement park is the award not best theme park. Also I wouldn't say that the rides are overrated.
-
It is a bit odd that Europa won. Looking at Europa and what it has to offer I don't quite see how it can compete with cedar point, but that is the golden ticket awards I guess.
-
Visited today and it was rather busy because of DHL were there. The queues varied a lot but I still did well with the longest wait being 40 minutes. As usual no fastracks were used: Stealth x4 Swarm x4 Slammer x2 Rush x3 Vortex x2 X x1 Zodiac x1 Samurai x3 Colossus x1 Dodgems x1 Nemesis Inferno x1 Ride total: 23 Pros - Swarm was very efficient - Slammer was working Cons - All the DHL people were given a free fastrack which must have been about 3000 people - Swarm didnt open until 11 - saw didnt open until 2 ish - Colossus closed at 11:30 ish and didnt reopen until about 2ish - Tidal wave kept breaking down - Saw once opened had a 90 minute queue until it closed
-
They could just operate it like nearly every american park and have lockers outside the queueline. SFGA charged $1 for 2 hours and was done by electronic codes so people couldn't loose their keys. Cedar point operated a similar system but for $2 every 2 hours. I'm sure Thorpe would love to cash in on that idea and then they could even remove the need for the bag rooms.
-
The water level in loggers leap is higher than what it has been in previous years. This could by why it seems wetter.

For example the best part of oblivion is the audio, and hex for that matter. I don't think swarms audio is too good and I feel it negatively impacts the ride. So audio is important.
-
I have no choice but to scan all of youtube to see if it ever did say brace yourselves.
-
How odd I could have sworn it used to be launched with and brace yourselves. A bit weird that 3 of us all thought the same thing.
-
There definitely was a launch sequence which had and brace yourselves in it. I think it must have been 2009 or 2008 when it said it.
