  1. A business is a business!!! On quiet days at Paultons Park we open the rides from 10.30am - 4.30pm, so thats already saving money on rides wages! We don't open Edge & Raging River Ride till 12pm due to them both using a lot of power and it's not cost effective to have them running from 10.30am when at 12pm they will both be walk on anyway! Some of the smaller rides are run 2 rides between one to again save wages and the fact there is NO need to have an operator at each ride when they won't be doing much! E.g. Seal Falls & Digger Ride run togeather as does Magic Carpet & Flying Saucer, Dragons Roundabout & Ladybird Ride, Go Karts & Rabbit Ride, Jumping Bean & Jumping Jack. If it is really quiet then Kontiki & Teacups will run togeather! Cobra runs with 3 cars instead of 5, that means the other 3 are in the workshop and can have work done to them as well! For all you know regarding Stealth, Colossus and Nemesis Inferno, they could actually be having their Annual Inspection on the trains so it's one less thing to do over closed season! E.g. stripping down one carriage a day on a train and inspecting the wheels and hubs for damage and if needed, replace them, this over the course of 2-3 weeks (Septemeber when it's quiet just after the busy period) is enough time to get it done and at least they don't have to do the trains during closed season!!

  2. Very short report from me.It was ok, got to Air at 10 which wouldnt dispatch us, seats kept getting stuck! then onto Nemesis, Th13teen, Rita etc. Th13teen broke down whilst in the queue. Saw a few other rides like Rita and Spinball break down too! The park was dead as it was chucking it down, left around 3.45ish because we had done everything we wanted to more than once! I honestly believe there is more stuff to do at Thorpe and that Thorpe are doing a lot better with uptime on rides this year compared to Alton! Going back to Alton for Scarefest

  3. Haha steve! Yes the lighthouse is awesome and Windy Castle looks impressive!! This is going to be an amazingly themed area and I hope everyone even though the area is not targeted towards you lot, that you come and look for yourself when it opens next year!!

  4. Yes, typical! The 2nd ride it faulted however, the rest of the hour was fine and the rest of the day it was fine and did not fault! Just must not be used to going backwards with people on! And no problem! I hope everyone enjoyed their expierence and day!

  5. Did Edge at Paulton's Park have many of these problems, Surely Zamperla should solve the problem soon, rather than creating more! now that the Gondola has different wheels, it seems to have too much track friction and is not reaching the top of the two towers and goes over the airtime hill slower. I'm sure they will get it sorted soon though; being as it is a major ride.

Edge has had a few problems but no where near as bad as Kobra! Edge has stopped on the wrong side 3 times this year so far. Edge also rarely faults, it will do a silly cant find home fault where it goes back and forth for a minute trying to find the sensor. It does this approx once every 1-2 weeks!
  6. I am watching X Factor as I fell asleep and missed it, same for Big Brother! >.<I hate having this chest thing which really hurts and all I want to do is sleep because it then doesn't annoy me!
