Even if it wouldn't work they need to improve the event greatly next year to try and reduce queues and to improve maze quality (and maybe length). If it's another Lionsgate year next year I won't go because it will be exactly the same. They also need to get there mazes finished on time and ready for the opening day!

After visiting Scarefest yesterday I can say that Fright Nights was very disappointing this year. Queues are always over 120+, the mazes are short and lacking in scares, The Big Top was missing theming when I went... I could go on. I got on all the mazes at Scarefest within an hour, in half term, with time slot tickets and each maze was very well themed, highly scary and were each unique. Thorpe Park seriously need to improve the event next year, with possibly the addition of time slot tickets. If they reduced the lineup to maybe 3-4 mazes and made them longer, then that would work also, but they need to improve the event badly!

Lots of information regarding Derren Brown and the page which supposedly revealed the Derren Brown theme which now has a Doctor Who pic on.

We were put into a hypnotic state by an Automaton and were made to think that we posted lots of clues before waking up confused at where the posts have gone...

Derek Brown pretty much confirmed with this video about the Automaton and the fact Thorpe filed the trademark for it and also in the video the cogs inside of the face looks identical to that on the first teaser trailer And of course the parrot names Mephisto and Figaro

I really don't want Saw Alive to return next year. It would have been there for 6 years and it is the same every year. Kinda sad CITW is going, only got two run throughs of it. First one was amazing, second not so good but still OK. I want them to bring The Asylum or Experiment 10 back or if not then one maze that we had before the Lionsgate takeover (not including Saw) but it is not going to happen. I wonder what mazes they will be bringing in and if they will have an IP or an original story. We'll just have to see in a years time...

Am I the only one who still thinks that this ride will have something to do with Containment? The whole fear theme is persistent throughout. In Containment you had to look through clocks to find the escape code, clocks being a reference to the 19:30 on the teaser. The Fright Nights link which seems to be going round with The Big Top having links to WC16 and the Kenny the Clown thing. It could be referring to the fact that WC16's theme will be linked to Fright Nights. The line of mindswanted is "You'll be out of your mind to miss it". It could be saying that the infection spreading in Containment bringing out fears will drive you out of your mind. I'm most likely wrong cos I'm wrong about most things but I still think this will be the theme

The Big Top was awful yesterday! I queued 90 minutes in the slow-moving q with people constantly jumping over fences and cutting in the lines but I finally got on at around 10-15pm. Then they rushed us through the maze by pushing us through the fortune teller section and straight out the exit, chasing us through the mirror maze and then telling us to keep walking through the outdoor bit on the inside. Theming was better on the inside than out and overall it wasn't worth the wait. Very disappointed this year

Yeah your right. I'll find out tommorow what it's like and then I might go back in half term (or next Friday evening) to see if it's improved.

Can someone answer me honestly here,is this year better than last year? because I have heard a lot of poor reviews from last night. I found last year very good so Is this year an improvement or has it got worse?
