  1. Still wondering what those five people could represent. Found out it isn't just something to connect Derren Brown's twitter and the scarefest photo, it's a symbol for the ride since it was on the Email Thorpe sent me last night.

  4. It's on their Facebook now, don't expect anything revealing though, just more "mind blowing" "world's first" "psychological" bla bla bla
  5. You said 9am Thorpe. Where's my announcement.

  9. The Big Top, Containment and...?
  10. I think Thorpe should follow on from what Alton Towers have done this year at Scarefest- from what I've heard sub species (their own new maze) topped everything at Thorpe park and was very unique. I think Thorpe should put a lot of money into theming and have a lot more actors and they're sorted. A lot of the rooms in Thorpe mazes are plain and look like white cardboard or black felt, and it's hard to build an atmosphere like this if I'm honest.
  11. Dying to know what the IP is, but can't seem to find any of the other character names anywhere- I don't know any apart from Kenny and the Figaro Bros.

  13. For me, this year Cabin was the best, since there were so many actors and they were so enthusiastic. I think I saw about 3 actors in the entire run through of MBV and the ones I did see just had white face paint... Also the pre-show was rushed and we were given no speech... Big Top was very good also, especially the last tent, apart from the fact that the chainsaw clown had to wriggle past us to get behind us to scare us and he accidentally hit someone with the chainsaw in the head, shutting the maze down... Blair witch was okay apart from tripping over a tent peg and falling into a bush I guess

  15. Just googled "Whitechapel Automatons" and ended up on a Wiki page for a book called "Whitechapel Gods"- set in Victorian London, about automatons, interesting read EDIT: On a side note, one of the Cabin in the Woods actors stopped me in the maze and whispered in my ear " give your skin to him"
