  1. I doubt the layout will change, but if they could I think it would work a lot better with the strobe maze as the second half after the actual themed scenes. Because then they could make the final chainsaw corridor strobed too and that would be so cool.

Do you think they still have what was inside experiment 10, and if they did, do you think they'll reuse them for some of the other mazes? I'm not sure how experiment 10's theme crossed over with any of the other mazes though...

They probably still have it all in storage somewhere, but it won't tie in with any of the current IP mazes I don't think...

unless they dump it in the big top prop room of course??

  3. I've never been to one of your guys' meet ups before and was just really interested to find out when it is and if it's invite only, or anyone can come! Because I would love to come along if I was available and accepted.

Heard a rumour that the new IP is going to be Bargain Hunt scare zone with all the actors dressed up like David Dickinson - and if you fail Containment this year you get covered in lots of orange fake tan and actors around the park will be try and scare you more?

    Way better than walking dead

  5. I think tulleys are about to properly announce this years line up as I keep checking the site and twice it's been down and the other two times it was partial-updated. Like the names of the new haunts were there but old pictures from years ago were being used and the haunt descriptions were all the same as last years. So I don't really know but hopefully something is announced today!

I'd love to have seen you in the days when Se7en was announced.  Happened quite late on (about a month before the event started) and construction for the maze didn't start till there was about 2 weeks before the event.  THAT was cutting it fine.

I would've hated that, although I think I may have actually done se7en once or twice but cannot remember too much about it? If it had one room that completely stunk then yes I've done it. However back then I wasn't really a full on enthusiast, I just went to Thorpe every month and then when October came the mazes would pop up and I would go in a few of them if the queues were small.

  7. I'd give it another week before I start to get wound up, I'm pretty sure it'll be at least 20 days before press night so they have enough time to bring in the crowds, it's very annoying but it's just a matter of waiting now!

Guys Yh it's merlin but do u reckon this will be a maze u go in a Congo line on ? As it has stairs this is gona be verry dangerous if someone jumps out st u

If there are stairs they most likely won't have a huge scare on them, although I do remember back in 2010-11 saw the ride always had 2 or 3 actors in the inside section of queue and also on the stairs, so who knows!

  9. Watch Jack silkstones latest vlog to see where he thinks the new maze, or re-vamped (again) Blair witch will go this year. If you cba I'll sum it up: in short he thinks the other new attraction (not walking dead, the one in Blair witch's place) will go from the area behind IAC and lead down the old Blair route, but only half the length. Personally I think AHS could work well here if they included some indoor and outdoor scenes, although I highly doubt AHS will happen.

  10. Just all a matter of waiting now...

I really do think that this could be one of tulleys' best years in a long time:

the cellar, chop shop and colony will all continue to be the most intense mazes there.

the 2 extended mazes could/ will mostly be entire new mazes themselves.

Creepy cottage is always just a fun lil warm up.

the hayride always has scene changes every year but never actually announces that it is 'new' or 'improved'. However I hope they change the three little pigs ending as it was too much like the chop shop imo.

finally vixi. Who knows what it is but I hope the park just go full out with it and make it scarier than chop shop, the park need a maze on par with sub species to keep up with other events.

The fortune teller (Madame Mephisto) had a crystal ball in 2015.  Occasionally they'd use tarot cards as well, but I never experienced a ouija board.

The ouija board was the key part of Platform 15's finale - you would try and summon the spirit of the conductor of the Sleeper Express, who had crawled through a "2 mile long tunnel" to try and get help.  The ouija board either appeared at the end of the tunnel (where the scare happened, but it meat only the people at the front could see it), or before the start of the tunnel (which happened later in the event).

Sums up what I was about to type! Thanks

  12. Oh dear, maybe I am stupid:

    1. Just realised this was already a topic

    2. I've put it in the complete wrong thread

if somebody could scrap it for me that would be helpful as I'm not quite sure how to myself

  13. Are they still doing the 'no riding without an over 18 rule' on rumba, on my last visit during summer this caused me to wait 50 minutes for the ****ty Rapids as almost the entire queue was filled with groups of teenagers waiting for an adult to ride with
